U.S. Government Places “Gag Order” on Weather Agency Employees, Inserts Geoengineering Propaganda into ‘Common Core’ Syllabus

US Government Places “Gag Order” on Weather Agency Employees, Inserts Geoengineering Propaganda into ‘Common Core’ Syllabus
by Dane Wigington, Guest Writers for Wake Up World, 27 November 2015

Government Implements Illegal “Gag Order” on National Weather Service and NOAA Employees

The power structure is beginning to panic as the public wakes up to the criminal climate engineering insanity. The growing police state is completely out of control and becoming unimaginably blatant with their actions. In recent weeks Washington has placed “gag orders” on the employees of “The National Weather Service” (NWS), the “National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration” (NOAA), and the “US Department of Commerce” agencies. This is a massive red flag that should trigger alarm bells everywhere.

Bill Hopkins, the executive vice president for the National Weather Service employees organization (NWSEO) said this: “As a taxpayer, I find it highly disturbing that a government agency continues to push gag orders to hide how they operate. This is the work of the American government, owned by the American public, and should be open to the American public.”

Scientists gather in unprecedented summit to debate DNA editing implications
When the scientists are worried, the rest of us should pay attention. And at this moment, they are worried.

That's because researchers all over the world have started experimenting with a powerful new tool that can alter the DNA of every organism on the planet, including humans, with unprecedented ease and precision.

Electronics and Kids' Brains Don't Mix

"Screen devices wreak havoc with the brain's frontal lobe. Diagnosis of ADHD in our children has taken a steep rise since the proliferation of screen devices. Yet, even when presented with that information, parents often won't hear of protecting their kids from the harmful effects of screen devices."

“Widespread exposure to toxic environmental chemicals threatens healthy human reproduction,” the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics warned in a landmark statement last month.

The warnings are a reminder that the chemical industry has inherited the mantle of Big Tobacco, minimizing science and resisting regulation in ways that cause devastating harm to unsuspecting citizens.

In the 1950s, researchers were finding that cigarettes caused cancer, but the political system lagged in responding. Now the same thing is happening with toxic chemicals.

Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (EHS): Fad Allergy, Debilitating Disease, or What?

"If EHS becomes as prevalent as “gluten sensitivity,” we can expect more EHS sufferers to ask courts to fashion them a remedy. Unlike bread and pasta for the gluten-obsessed, EMF is not something a person can easily avoid. Americans are exposed to EMF on a daily basis, from the likes of garage door openers, cell phones, cordless phones, laptops, tablets, to Wi-Fi routers in their homes, supermarkets, malls and places of work. Radio frequency energy is literally everywhere. While there is no science to support the causation hypothesis, people who believe they have EHS really believe they have a legitimate sensitivity, and many have demonstrable symptoms that are not frivolous. That makes for motivated litigants, which means the courts will probably see more of these cases in the future. But for courts to decide that EHS is something more than a fad allergy, or a psychological manifestation arising from the nocebo effect, they will need controlled scientific studies supporting the case..."

Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (EHS): Fad Allergy, Debilitating Disease, or What?
The National Law Review, 15 October 2015

Less than 1% of the population suffers from the serious gluten allergy known as celiac disease. Yet every time this writer goes out to dinner at least one dining companion passes on bread and pasta, claiming a self-diagnosed “gluten sensitivity” that manifests as a collection of nondescript symptoms, the major one being “fatigue.” The odd thing is that our obsession with gluten – present in a staple food for millennia – has only recently become the bad actor in all sorts of physical and mental maladies in celiac-free individuals.

babulous, medium.com, 27 November 2015

Last week, I got my first wearable. Before using it, I wanted to read up on it, to learn if it was safe to have on my person, 24/7. My goal was a blog about how to safely use gadgets. But I ended up learning a lot more than I expected. Let me start at the beginning.

My new $12 Mi Band is a barebones wearable from Xiaomi without even a dial to tell the time. What it does have is a motion sensor that counts my steps and monitors my sleep patterns. It also has a vibration motor as well as notification lights to communicate. I can set it to vibrate when I get a call, or receive messages, or as an alarm. The notification lights do some notifying. But decoding flashing lights is a bit too nerdy for me. The invisible cellphone unlock function is fun, and I happily buckled on the band.

Truth is stranger than fiction

My wife however didn’t share my excitement. She worries about the harm that gadgets may be doing to our bodies. She’s not into technology but she’s aware her ear gets warm when she talks too long on her cellphone, and she intuitively knows that can’t be good.

Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity – An Increasing Challenge to the Medical Profession

"The prevalence of EHS seems to be increasing today, and many people get symptoms when exposed to ELF- and/or RF-EMF. With the ever more extensive use of wireless technologies, nobody can avoid being exposed. It is important to work toward getting objective diagnostic criteria for EHS, and have it recognized and officially accepted as hypersensitivity, an illness caused by exposure to EMF. Thus, it is necessary to give an International Classification of Diseases to EHS. If and when EHS is accepted as a diagnosis by society and the medical profession, measures can be taken especially in consideration for this group of people with EHS regarding healthcare, accommodation, school, and work."

Apple Watch Users Complain After Device Causes Rashes and Burns
by Zachary Stieber, Epoch Times, 25 November 2015

Apple Watch users are complaining that the device causes rashes and even burns, and none seem to be able to get an official response from the tech giant.

Users have been taking to Twitter and Instagram to show the effects of the device.

“My Apple Watch has burnt a hole in my wrist!!” wrote one user, Andrew Terry, on Twitter.

Paul Fabretti, who works for Microsoft, also experienced a burn.

Jargen Mouritzen, a user from Denmark, says he was left with severe burns after the strap surged with power and started burning his flesh.

“I could smell the burning flesh. And the strap was so hot that as I scrambled to try and pull it off my arm, I even burnt my fingers,” he told Metro.

A lot of people still don’t think the Apple Watch really does anything noteworthy. Here’s one thing it can do: burn the crap out of your arm.

That’s according to one Danish man’s report, at any rate. Jorgen Mouritzen says that the incredibly nasty-looking wounds you see here (the last photo below is particularly bad) were definitely caused by his Apple Watch. He claims that he wasn’t holding it near an external heat source at the time, something that a close friend of his confirmed to a reporter from Ekstra Bladet.

They also posted an image that shows some pretty alarming damage to Mouritzen’s stainless steel strap:

THE parents of a 15-year-old schoolgirl who hanged herself in woods near her home in June this year say her school could have done more to listen to her cries for help.

Jenny Fry, a pupil at Chipping Norton School, was found by her mother, Debra Fry, hanging from a tree at Brooke Woods at 4.20pm on June 11.

The inquest at Oxfordshire Coroners' Court on November 19 heard how Jenny, who was described as intelligent, non-judgemental and organised, had not been seen since leaving home to go to school on the morning of Thursday, June 11, although she did not get on her bus to school.

A police statement said at 9.36am and 10.05am she sent a text to a friend about her intentions and stating where she was. Her friend did not have her phone with her that day.

Now Mrs Fry and Jenny's father, Charles Newman, say they will continue their campaign to have the dangers of WiFi in schools addressed.

During the inquest, Mrs Fry said Jenny had first started showing symptoms of electro-hypersensitivity (EHS) around November 2012, including tiredness, nausea, headaches and bladder problems. It was the time Jenny's parents briefly had WiFi connected to their home and, said Mrs Fry, that Chipping Norton School had WiFi installed.

The French Court Decision that Electro-Sensitivity is a Disability is Final

(Enlarge image to read text.)
UPDATE (26 November 2015)  – The French Court Decision that Electro-Sensitivity is a Disability is Final - A few months ago, a French court decided that a French woman, is indeed suffering from Electro-Sensitivity and is allergic to wireless and awarded her monthly disability payments. The French Government decided to appeal the decision, however, the Government did not submit the appeal on time and the Appellate Court therefore decided to on 3 November 2015 to reject the appeal. This means that the decision in Ms. Richard's case is now final and cannot be legally challenged again... A few weeks ago, a mistaken press release was circulating stating that the appellate court reviewed the case and upheld the lower court's decision on its merits. This was a mistake as the appellate court did not review the case at all and rejected the appeal purely because the French Government was late in submitting it's appeal. It is important that we all be aware of the accurate facts so we can reference the case with accuracy in the future, and I waited to get the actual final decision so there would be no confusion. Yesterday I got it and the appellate court final decision is [at right]. (Message from lawyer, Dafna Tachover.)

London - The list of places off-limits to Mary Coales is extensive. The 63-year-old can’t go to theatres, restaurants, cinemas, airports, or parks.

If she has a hospital appointment, she has to wait outside the building until the very last moment, while trips to the supermarket are conducted at lightning speed.

Even walking down the road outside her house can cause a terrible shooting pain in her mouth - which is why, whenever she goes out, she wears a top made from a special gauzy silver and polyamide material.

To passers-by, the Cambridge graduate and former high-flying civil servant may look odd, but she insists that the fabric - called Aaronia Shield - is the only way she can protect herself from the radiation caused by wifi and mobile phone signals.

Like increasing numbers of people, Mary believes she suffers from electromagnetic hypersensitivity intolerance syndrome (EHS) - in other words, she thinks the electronic devices most of us rely on in our everyday lives are making her ill.

The health-damaging effects of wireless technology has been a hotly debated topic in scientific circles for years now. Linked with increased stress, brain fog, insomnia, cancer, lower sperm count, Alzheimer’s Disease, behavioral issues and developmental delays, many are questioning the daily use of Wi-Fi, cellphones, tablets, smart meters and other modern ‘necessities.’

For anyone who has first hand experience with electromagnetic sensitivity triggered by these devices, there is little doubt of their negative effect on health, mental clarity and overall well-being. Regrettably, humans aren’t the only ones negatively affected by wireless technology. Researchers in the Netherlands have found electromagnetic pollution can also harm trees.

United States: D.C. Court Considers How to Screen Out 'Bad Science' in Local Trials

D.C. court considers how to screen out ‘bad science’ in local trials
by Ann E. Marimow, The Washington Post,
24 November 2015

District prosecutors and public defenders are asking the city’s highest court to adopt what they say is a more rigorous standard for screening out “bad science” in criminal cases.

The D.C. Court of Appeals on Tuesday will consider whether to change the rules for how judges admit expert witnesses — a courtroom procedural matter that can have major implications for criminal trials and civil product-liability lawsuits.

If the court decides to switch to the standard used in most states and in federal courtrooms, local judges would be given a more robust role in filtering the evidence juries weigh at trial.

The case before the appellate court involves the question of whether cellphones can cause brain cancer. Plaintiffs have sued cellphone manufacturers and providers in D.C. Superior Court alleging that long-term exposure to cellphone radiation causes brain tumors.

Thanks to public awareness campaigns about the dangerous health impacts of smoking cigarettes and the resulting heavy regulation of the tobacco industry, smoking rates in the U.S. are at their lowest level since records began in 1965. Still, “cigarette smoking is the leading cause of preventable disease and death in the U.S.,” says the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, “accounting for more than 480,000 deaths every year, or one of every five deaths.”

Why and How Wireless Microwave Technologies De-construct the Human Body

Modulated Radio Waves Are Not Safe

Bawin et al. also showed that the situation changes drastically when the signal is "amplitude modulated" so that its strength rises and falls in time with a lower frequency. In particular, they found that signals that were too weak to generate significant heat, could now drive structurally important calcium from the surfaces of brain cells....The loss of this calcium weakens membranes and makes them more likely to leak and give unwanted biological effects.

Last year, a controversial $100 million student data collection project funded by the Gates Foundation and operated by a specially created nonprofit organization called inBloom was forced to shut down because of these concerns, an episode that served as a warning to parents about just how much information about their children is being shared without their knowledge.

Two Recently Published Studies by Swiss Researchers on Adolescents Report Harmful Effects of Mobile Phone Use

Two recently published studies on adolescents report harmful effects of mobile phone use

A cross-sectional study found that adolescents who were awakened by a mobile phone at least once a month during the night were more likely to report tiredness, rapid exhaustibility, headache and physical ill-being. A prospective cohort study found that greater wireless radiation exposure predicted lower memory test performance.  [Both of these studies are by Swiss researchers.]

Abstract

Many adolescents tend to leave their mobile phones turned on during night, accepting that they may be awakened by an incoming text message or call. Using self-reported and objective operator recorded mobile phone use data, we thus aimed to analyze how being awakened during night by mobile phone affects adolescents' perceived health and cognitive functions.

How Dangerous Is Radiation from Cell Phones?

"In May 2015, a group of 190 independent scientists from 39 countries, who in total have written more than 2,000 papers on the topic, called on the United Nations, the World Health Organization, and national governments to develop stricter controls on cellphone radiation. They point to growing research suggesting that the low levels of radiation from cellphones could have potentially cancer-causing effects."

Does radiation from cellphones cause brain cancer — or doesn’t it?

Researchers investigating that question have gone back and forth over the years. A game of scientific ping pong has divided the medical community and cellphone users into two camps: those who think we should stop worrying so much about cellphone radiation, and others who think that there’s enough evidence to warrant some cautionary advice.

Most Americans fall squarely on the “don’t worry” side. In a recent Consumer Reports survey of 1,000 adults, only 5 percent said they were very concerned about the radiation from cellphones, and less than half took steps to limit their exposure to it.

Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity From Microwave Technology Finally Medically Proven

Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity From Microwave Technology Finally Medically Proven
by Catherine J. Frompovich, Natural Health News, 20 November 2015

Finally, there’s documented medical proof that electromagnetic hypersensitivity is a real-time health issue that actually can be verified using standard medical procedures and testing capabilities.

An international group of researchers aced it when they published their findings from the clinical study “Metabolic and Genetic Screening of Electromagnetic Hypersensitive Subjects as a Feasible Tool for Diagnostics and Intervention” in the November 2014 issue of Mediators of Inflammation.

So, the million-dollar-question has to be, “When will utility companies get up to speed on the latest in microwave technology damage to the human body?” Also, “When will public utility commissions nationwide institute proper procedures to protect consumers from such damage?”

Pennsylvanians currently are being bombarded by non-thermal health problems from public utility companies’ electric, natural gas and water Smart Meters, which operate using microwave technology.

Furthermore, the PA House Consumer Affairs Committee Chair Robert Godshall sits on Opt-Out Bills that will permit electrosensitive consumers and others to keep safe analog meters, which have been in use for decades.

Secretely counselled by the same physician who used to head radiation studies at the World Health Organization (WHO) and at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), California’s Opt-Out Program now offers non-wireless analog meters Hydro-Quebec claims are no longer available.

People who have become intolerant to electromagnetic fields (EMF) should be allowed to keep their electromechanical (analog) meter rather than be imposed a “smart” electronic (digital) meter emitting radiofrequencies (RFs), former President of the the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) Michael Peevey admitted in a 2010 email recently seized by authorities thanks to a search warrant. Peevey’s email was sent to none other than Brian Cherry, Vice President of the big energy supplier Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), based in San Francisco. In January 2015, investigators from the Office of the California Attorney General seized their computers as part of a criminal investigation on possible collusion and corruption in the appointment of a judge favorable to a proposed rate increase that would have generated PG&E $1.3 billion in extra revenues. AMA Calls for Ban on Direct to Consumer Advertising of Prescription Drugs and Medical Devices

For immediate release:
Nov. 17, 2015

ATLANTA –Responding to the billions of advertising dollars being spent to promote prescription products, physicians at the Interim Meeting of the American Medical Association (AMA) today adopted new policy aimed at driving solutions to make prescription drugs more affordable.

Physicians cited concerns that a growing proliferation of ads is driving demand for expensive treatments despite the clinical effectiveness of less costly alternatives.

“Today’s vote in support of an advertising ban reflects concerns among physicians about the negative impact of commercially-driven promotions, and the role that marketing costs play in fueling escalating drug prices,” said AMA Board Chair-elect Patrice A. Harris, M.D., M.A. “Direct-to-consumer advertising also inflates demand for new and more expensive drugs, even when these drugs may not be appropriate.”

8 Physical Risks Of Too Much Screen Time

8 Physical Risks Of Too Much Screen Time
by Kate Bratskeir, Food and Health Editor, The Huffington Post, 18 November 2015

'Cyber sickness' isn't part of your phone plan, is it?

Even though we're bigger and stronger than our smartphones, misuse can lead to physical strains and discomfort.

The dangers of excessive screen time that we hear about most often relate to happiness, relationships and self-worth; it's rare to consider the physical dangers associated with our digital devices. But it's all too easy to fall into bad habits when using technology, whether it's crouching over your phone on the subway or staring at the screen for longer periods than you should.

There's even evidence that your phone can make you nauseous: The New York Times recently brought "cyber sickness" to our attention. It's a condition in which your phone makes you feel like you're on a rollercoaster ride.

Here are eight real physical symptoms of too much tech use. Check them out and keep them top of mind every time you're plugged in:

1. Cyber Sickness

Feeling Woozy? It May Be Cyber Sickness

Ole Spata/ European Pressphoto Agency
"The worry is that a teenager, after several hours of playing a virtual reality game, might get behind the wheel of a car and have balance and vision impairments similar to being drunk. Lengthy viewing of high-definition televisions or scrolling wildly on a phone might also somehow alter people’s sense of equilibrium, making them more likely to trip and fall."

[Might not "cyber sickness" be a physical effect caused by exposure to the electromagnetic radiation emitted by wireless technology?]

Feeling Woozy? It May Be Cyber Sickness
by Kate Murphy, The New York Times,
14 November 2015

If you are watching computer-generated mayhem in the latest action film or scrolling rapidly on your smartphone, you may start to feel a little off. Maybe it is a dull headache or dizziness or creeping nausea.

And no, it is not something you ate.

A peculiar side effect of the 21st century is something called digital motion sickness or cybersickness. Increasingly common, according to medical and media experts, it causes a person to feel woozy, as if on a boat in a churning sea, from viewing moving digital content.

“It’s a fundamental problem that’s kind of been swept under the carpet in the tech industry,” said Cyriel Diels, a cognitive psychologist and human factors researcher at Coventry University’s Center for Mobility and Transport in England. “It’s a natural response to an unnatural environment.”

4G/LTE Mobile Internet and WiFi: The Largest Pandemic Ever?!

Martin Möhrke
"In the practices of doctors and other physicians there is a continuous increase in the number of people with chronic and seemingly inexplainable complaints. From measurements using new medical devices, blood measures or saliva examinations it appears that the cause in 2012 in one out of three patients is radiation overload. Unfortunately this fact is not widely realized by the medical profession. In 2002 about one in 30 patients were radiation stressed. In the meantime that has become one in three."

by Martin Möhrke, FAIM (Foundation for Alternative and Integrative Medicine)

Many people are still unperturbed by the possible consequences of exposure to mobile phones, wireless networks and other radiation producing apparatuses. With the exception, of course, of those people who have acute complaints and are quite aware of their effects. That is, however, a small group. Ultimately no living being escapes the influence of unnatural radiation on the cell structures of the body.

There are only a handful of European countries that take measures to protect their citizens, by informing them and enforcing mandatory warning labels on the packaging of mobile apparatuses. In France it is forbidden for children under 15 years of age to use GSM. The European Council has passed the resolution wherein they advise a complete restriction of mobile phones and wireless internet in schools (Source: Council of Europe, Document No. 12608, 6 mei 2011). Unfortunately in The Netherlands nothing has yet been done about this resolution and it is likely to be years before that changes.

Missouri: Columbia City Council Decides to Reopen High-Voltage Electric Line Discussions

Resident Kent Hendrix voiced one of the common concerns, which has to do with possible health effects of the electromagnetic fields from the line.  “Where this proposed line is going to go is less than 75 feet from where my 8-year-old son sleeps every night,” Hendrix said. “If there is any chance at all that this causes childhood leukemia, it’s not worth it to me. He has no way to escape these power lines.”

Columbia City Council Decides to Reopen High-Voltage Electric Line Discussions

17 November 2015

Twelve Columbia residents spoke to city council members Monday night in opposition to new high-voltage power lines to be built on the south side of Columbia. This opposition followed a report by city staff outlining the details and progress of the project. According to the report, the additional lines are needed to lighten the load on existing power lines in that part of town. The plan has been in the works since 2007 and a route was chosen in 2013, but residents’ concerns prompted the council to reopen the issue for another public hearing.

Cancer Officially Number One Cause of Childhood Death in U.S. (2013 Article)

The top two childhood cancers are leukemia and cancers of the brain and nervous system.
Studies have linked both EMF exposure and childhood leukemia (for a few examples, see hereherehere and here), and EMF exposure to childhood brain tumors (see herehere and here).

Cancer Officially Number One Cause of Childhood Death in U.S.

UPDATE: ABC News has changed their original article, both title and contents, to specify that cancer is the leading cause of death by disease for children. This is NOT what was published by ABC News when this article was originally written. Either way, why are so many children getting cancer these days???

The number one reason blamed for childhood deaths in America used to be accidents; now it’s cancer.

ABC News is reporting today that cancer has officially outranked every other cause of childhood death in this country:

David Andersen, partner at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers, who has experience with astbestos cases then spoke about Causation at Common Law. He commented that there are parallels between the asbestos litigation which has brought on difficult questions about scientific proof, causation, foreseeability, reasonable response to risk, and that these questions could arise in the context of radiation related legal battles also.

The world is changing at a rapid pace. Not surprisingly then, there has been a rampant proliferation of home and business cordless transmission technology (e.g. mobile phone towers, smart meters, wi-fi cordless phones) that has vastly increased our exposure to radiation. Recent legal developments are causing the producers of this radiation overload to sit up and take notice, as the issue of costly liability and lawsuits is fast becoming a reality.

After the undeniable facts presented by the medical experts (part 1), Jenne Tzavaras, partner at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers, took the audience through liability considerations. Stressing that a clear distinction must be drawn between Common Law negligence claims and statutory Workers Compensation claims. The important distinguishing feature here is the required causal nexus.

Associate professor Ray Kearney OAM then spoke and started with a personal experience. His daughter had headaches frequently when it was discovered, by use of a guass meter (example), that the nearby meter box and associated supply cable was producing significant levels of electromagnetic fields (EMF). He then went on the educate those attending on the subject of the effects of EMR and give an insight on Melatonin in health and disease, but first stressed that ‘Groupthink’ should be recognised so that groups of people do not automatically promote the misconceptions they are laboring under. Even the opinion of an expert can be wrong as it is formed on the information collected by that person.

Biological and Health Effects of EMR with a summary of some key findings

Dr Priyanka Bandara spoke about the biological effects of ‘low-level’ microwaves. She commented that the Russians were the pioneers when it comes to documenting the biological effects of this type of radiation. When considering the bioeffect we must realise that we ourselves are bioelectrical beings in which the cells have delicate electrical functions. Also the brain has much electrical activity, so it is logical to expect that the exposure to electricity or radiation from outside sources can have an effect on these. Our cells have to do 1000s of chemical reactions and it is evident that these processes are affected by EMR.

Radio frequency radiation exposure of children and workers

Use of, and the EMF radiation exposure of wireless devices has increased dramatically over recent years.

Dr Mary Redmayne, addressed those gathered about children’s and workers’ exposure to radio frequency radiation (RF), in particular the international approaches to policy and advise. She identified that there are personal devices that emit the high frequency radiation over which we have a great deal of control but often are not aware that these devices are potentially harmful to ourselves and our children. In addition there are the device in our environment that the individual does not have control over and are effectively pushed upon us by others. It was noted that in recent years the use of wireless devices had significantly increased, especially amongst younger people, and that Wi-Fi and BYOD (Bring your own device) are now very common in schools.

200,000 GTA homes and businesses have just received pills to protect them from radiation

If you live in Durham Region or Scarborough, you may have just been mailed a package of pills in a calming sky blue box. Those pills are meant to protect you in the event of a nuclear disaster — a disaster that you, living within a sensitive 10km zone surrounding the Pickering and Darlington Nuclear Generating Stations, would be on the frontlines of.

“A serious nuclear accident is extremely unlikely,” says Ontario Power Generation (OPG) spokesperson Neal Kelly.

“(But) we worked with Toronto Health and Durham Health and we came up with a plan.”

200,000 homes and businesses have just received potassium iodide (KI) pills in a $1.5 million OPG-funded project that is being run in conjunction with Durham Region and the City of Toronto. Also known as RadBlock, the pills prevent the thyroid gland from absorbing radioactive iodine, thus reducing the risk of thyroid cancer in the aftermath of a nuclear disaster. As a gas, radioactive iodine can travel quickly and is easily inhaled.

Massachusetts Groups File Smart Meter Fraud Complaints With Attorney General

HaltMAsmartmeters spokesperson Patricia Burke:  "Massachusetts has abundant scientific, medical, and intellectual resources to be able to determine whether chronic inescapable exposures to pulsed radio frequencies and power line technologies are causing biological harm, including the onset of disabling electromagnetic hypersensitivity. Dr. Dominique Belpomme in France has identified bio-markers of EHS, which has been characterized as a pre-Alzheimer’s state... Russia is far ahead of the US in protecting citizens from tissue stimulation or reproductive harm caused by exposure to non-ionizing radiation. The US is still using theoretical guidelines for exposure limits that cater to military priorities, and lagging far behind other nations in addressing emerging evidence of harm. The US has a terrible record for human experimentation on civilian populations without knowledge and consent... The Commonwealth could turn the tide away from this unfolding IT and human health disaster that has been fueled, literally, by tobacco science."

A Canadian appeal court on Tuesday ordered two major tobacco companies to set aside a combined C$984 million ($742 million) while they challenge billions of dollars in damages awarded to smokers in the province of Quebec.

The more than C$15 billion in damages awarded in June, if upheld in an appeal of two class-action lawsuits, would compensate some 100,000 Quebec smokers and ex-smokers who allege the companies knew since the 1950s that their product was causing cancer and other illnesses and failed to warn consumers adequately.

It happens more often than you can imagine, but more Doctors are finally getting caught in the act of misrepresenting their oath and fraudulently diagnosing healthy patients with cancer to turn a quick buck from kickbacks on chemotherapy poisons.

Why shouldn't Doctors lie when the entire cancer industry is one gigantic fabrication from start to finish? Is it any wonder that cancer societies worldwide put a far greater financial initiative on chemotherapy and radiation research than disease prevention techniques? Preventing disease doesn't make money, but treating disease certainly does.

America's New Normal: Chronically Ill Kids

"Over half of US children now suffer from a chronic condition, disability, or disease. Americans spend the least on food, the most on health care, have the most highly vaccinated kids, and have the sickest kids of any industrialized country. More kids than not are now chronically ill, developmentally delayed, and eating or injecting prescription medications from cradle to grave – which is going to be a quicker trip for them than it was for their parents..."

Herbicide can now be approved for relicensing in EU, despite World Health Organisation assessment linking it to cancer in humans
The European Food and Safety Authority (Efsa) has removed barriers to the relicensing of glyphosate, a best-selling herbicide, despite World Health Organisation (WHO) warnings that the substance is “probably carcinogenic to humans”.

The ruling opens the door to a new 10-year licence for glyphosate across Europe, although the authority set a threshold for exposure to the substance of of 0.5mg per kg of body weight for the first time.

“Glyphosate is unlikely to pose a carcinogenic hazard to humans and the evidence does not support classification with regard to its carcinogenic potential,” the Efsa assessment found.

United States: New Survey Finds 1 in 45 Kids Has Autism

New survey finds 1 in 45 kids has autism: What's behind the alarming number?
by Maggie Fox, today.com, 13 November 2015

A new government survey finds that more than 2 percent of U.S. kids have been diagnosed with autism — or 1 in 45 children aged 3 and older.

That seems like a startling increase from the last estimate of 1 in 68 kids.

But the researchers are quick to point out that the latest survey was done in a new way, asking parents different questions about their kids and any diagnosis of autism. They say it's probably the most accurate estimate yet, and stress that it almost certainly doesn't show some big increase in autism actually occurring among children.

Instead, they say, it's clear that doctors are changing the way they diagnose autism and parents are far more likely than in years past to seek a diagnosis for their kids.

The Microwave Syndrome or Electro-hypersensitivity: Historical Background

"There is increasing evidence that the “microwave syndrome” or “electro-hypersensitivity” (EHS) is a real disease that is caused by exposure to EMFs, especially those in the microwave range. The reported incidence of the syndrome is increasing along with increasing exposure to EMFs from electricity, WiFi, mobile phones and towers, smart meters and many other wireless devices. Why some individuals are more sensitive is unclear. While most individuals who report having EHS do not have a specific history of an acute exposure, excessive exposure to EMFs, even for a brief period of time, can induce the syndrome."

Why the FCC's Safety Guidelines for Wi-Fi Need to be Re-evaluated

"About 300 of every 100,000 people develop cancer in top-10 countries with populations around 5 million or more (Denmark, France, Australia, Belgium, Norway, United States of America, Ireland, South Korea, Netherlands, and Canada), and these countries also have very high internet/Wi-Fi penetration."

Why the FCC's safety guidelines for Wi-Fi need to be re-evaluated

by Ajay Malik, networkworld.com, 12 November 2015

FCC guidelines are based on the assumption that Wi-Fi signals are received by a human body from a distance for one transmitting antenna. However, we are not exposed to one Wi-Fi transmitting antenna anymore.

Wi-Fi has become the fourth utility we need - after water, gas, and electricity. Everything is being "wifized." My watch, my phone, my TV, my iPad, my DVD player, my coffee maker, my refrigerator, my weighing machine! Schools, hospitals, businesses, coffee shops… it's everywhere. We can’t live without it, but hopefully it is not killing us slowly. I say this because FCC guidelines for maximum allowed transmit power of Wi-Fi Access Points are based on the assumption that Wi-Fi signals are received by a human body from a distance for one transmitting Wi-Fi antenna. However, we are not exposed to just one transmitting Wi-Fi antenna anymore.

The Nuclear Industry’s Million-Year Waste Cycle: Contaminating Future Generations

The Nuclear Industry’s Million-Year Waste Cycle: Contaminating Future Generations
by Ethan Indigo Smith, Contributing Writer for Wake Up World,
10 November 2015

The nuclear energy and weaponry industries are signs the military-industrial complex is running at white hot. The inherent dangers of the nuclear experiment are the same ones that President Dwight D. Eisenhower warned us all about in his famous exit speech on 17 January, 1961 when he said: “We must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, either sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced powers exists, and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted.”

But today, despite this warning, the nuclear experimentation industry is still shrouded in scientific and political secrecy, undermining our liberties and democratic processes and risking our health and our very existence in the process. When it all goes wrong — and history shows us this outcome is inevitable — the environmental destruction both of nuclear accidents and planned detonations is global, and permanent.

New Documentary: "Generation Zapped!"

GENERATION ZAPPED! is a documentary film investigating the growing body of research suggesting that wireless technology can pose serious health risks – from headaches to infertility to cancer.

In less than a generation, widespread access to the internet has revolutionized virtually every aspect of life, connecting people with previously unimaginable information and opportunities.

But in the rush to embrace the convenience and affordability of cell phones and WiFi, few have paused to question the possible consequences of their ubiquitous use.

Through interviews with scientists, doctors, patients, corporations, government officials and educators, this thought-provoking film explores current claims and research on how these technologies affect the body, especially in populations particularly vulnerable – like children.

GENERATION ZAPPED! considers the case for honoring the precautionary principle when it comes to our wholesale adoption of wireless technology – to simply slow down and “plug it in” until further research is complete.

Letter Sent by the Austrian Chamber of Physicians to the Austrian Federal Ministry for Economics, Family and Youth on Smart Meters

We have only just discovered this letter sent by the Austrian Chamber of Physicians to the Austrian Federal Ministry for Economics, Family and Youth in January 2012
German | English translation

Federal Ministry for Economics

Our Character
Oberfeld/HaD

Honored ladies and gentlemen,
The data transmission from the smart grid can in principle be made via radio (eg, GSM, WLAN), power line communications (PLC) and data cables (copper, fiber optics). Which technology is implemented is until then up to the utility companies.

People in Austria are burdened with ever increasing exposures to electromagnetic fields. According to the WHO (IARC), after low-frequency magnetic fields (e.g. of the power supply), in May 2011 high-frequency electromagnetic fields such as those occurring in GSM and WLAN were also classified as possibly carcinogenic for humans. For intermediate frequencies in the kilohertz range (dirty power / dirty electricity), as occur in the PLC connection from transformer to Smart Meter that is favored by the utility companies in Austria, we have data from the U.S. which also shows an increased cancer risk.

Professor Olle Johansson (full paper from 2010)

Abstract.

Persons, claiming to suffer from exposure to electromagnetic fields, have been described in the literature.

In Sweden, electrohypersensitivity (EHS) is an officially fully recognized functional impairment (i.e., it is not regarded as a disease).

Survey studies show that somewhere between 230,000– 290,000 Swedish men and women – out of a population of 9,000,000 - report a variety of symptoms when being in contact with electromagnetic field (EMF) sources.

Swedish electrohypersensitive people have their own handicap organization, The Swedish Association for the Electrohypersensitive, which has its own website in both Swedish and English. This organization is included in the Swedish Disability Federation (Handikappförbundens SamarbetsOrgan; HSO).

One aim of our studies has been to investigate possible alterations, in the cellular and neuronal systems of these persons’ skin.
