The European Union Is Banning Toxic Silver Mercury Fillings

The European Union Is Banning Toxic Silver Mercury Fillings
by SafBaby, 20 December 2016

“The children of Europe have won. The next generation in Europe will be safe from mercury dental fillings.”
– Charlie Brown, President of the World Alliance for Mercury-Free Dentistry

This week the EU announced its historical decision to ban the use of amalgam (aka silver mercury) fillings for use in children, pregnant women and breastfeeding women to protect them against the toxic effects of mercury.

The use of mercury “for dental treatment of milk teeth, children under 15 years and pregnant or breastfeeding women will be banned from 1 July 2018 unless there are specific medical needs.” The full text from the landmark announcement on Mercury Pollution released December 16, 2016 is available here.

Once the European Council formally endorses the legislation, it will be sent to the European Parliament for a vote and then back to the Council for final adoption.

Should we be afraid of waves?
by Sandra Imsand, Fédération romande des consommateurs, 6 December 2016 (translated by the Editor of "Towards Better Health"

Harmful or inoffensive, electromagnetic fields emitted by electronic gadgets continue to divide scientists and the population

High frequency radiation?  The subject has been written about extensively for many years.  While 97% of the population over age 16 uses a mobile phone or a smartphone, the harm caused by waves is disregarded.  It is all the more problematical as inumerous devices are emitting all the time.  From connected watches to eyeglasses to enhanced reality, the number of gadgets carried permanently on oneself or close to the head is alarming.

WHO RF EHC Core Group Membership is Unacceptable

WHO Monograph on Radiofrequency Radiation and ICNIRP
Lennart Hardell's blog, 21 December 2016

There is growing international concern on the biased representation of persons in the preparation of the WHO Monograph on Radiofrequency Radiation. As discussed earlier the group is dominated by members of ICNIRP. In fact the Ethical Board at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden concluded already in 2008 that being a member of ICNIRP may be a conflict of interest that should be stated in scientific publications (Karolinska Institute Diary Number 3753-2008-609).

A recent letter to WHO [Dr. Emilie van Deventer] written by members of the BioInitiative Working Group describes the unbalanced ‘no-risk’ group at WHO preparing the document. The full text may be read here.

A major shareholder of Eternit was found guilty in 2012 of negligence during the 1970s and 1980s that led to about 3,000 asbestos-related deaths. Two years later, the charges were dropped after courts ruled that too much time had passed since the allegations.  Despite setbacks like these, people like Romana Blasotti Pavesi... continue to fight. She has already outlived her husband — a former employee at Eternit — their daughter, a sister and her niece, all of whom died from mesothelioma in recent years.

Stealth Canada - Deep-Sixing the Science on Wireless Radiation

STEALTH CANADA—deep-sixing the science on wireless radiation
by Olga Sheean, olgasheean.com

Health Canada is inspiring activism in even the most passive Canadians (especially those harmed by wireless microwave radiation from WiFi, cell phones etc)—motivating them to protect their own health, ensure their own survival, stand up for their rights, and tap into their compassion and humanity—since Health Canada seems incapable of doing any of these things for them.

Teachers, too, are being challenged to become empowered. If they dare to test the levels of radiation coming from WiFi routers in their school, to protect their own health as well as the health of the schoolchildren, or if they turn the router off when not in use, they can lose their job. One teacher in BC—Maria Plant—who has been teaching for 30 years, was forced to retire because the WiFi in her school became intolerable, and she now has such severe electro-sensitivity, as a result, that she can no longer lead a normal life. "It's been emotionally and physically devastating to slowly succumb to this disorder of EHS [electromagnetic hypersensitivity]," she says, "as it forced me to give up the two loves of my life: teaching and physical outdoor activity, because my inner ear and balance are most severely affected by radiofrequency signals."

Health Implications of Long-term Exposure to Electrosmog by Karl Hecht (English edition 2016)

Karl Hecht: Health Implications of Long-term Exposure to Electrosmog (English edition 2016)
Competence Initiative - kompetenzinitiative.net

Full text
Extracts from the Foreword:

"The review findings by Hecht—which disappeared into the government archives as soon as they had been submitted and which we are now making available to the public in this brochure in its most comprehensive form to date—are based on the assessment of 878 Russian studies between 1960 and 1997. To pretend as if there were no connection between microwave technologies from the past and those from today is like burying one's head in the sand. This tactic is well illustrated by the current politics regarding radar victims and the increasing group of persons with electromagnetic hypersensitivity."
...

"As the sixth brochure in our brochure series Effects of
Wireless Communication Technologies, we present the brochure by Karl Hecht on the Health Implications of Long-term Exposure to Electrosmog. The author documents and confirms the serious consequences of observed tendencies to consciously ignore and deny existing health implications. All six brochures of this series supplement each other, exposing a sick government system called health and environmental protection, which exploits the present and future of public health for its
own irresponsible political agenda."

Doctors against an increase in limit values

In the vote of 8 December 2016, the Council of States voted against the motion to increase limit values for mobile phone antennas, with 20 to 19 votes and 3 abstentions. In order to ensure the implementation of motion 163007 "Ensure modernization of mobile radio networks as quickly as possible", both the National Council and the Council of States would have had to vote for this. The motion is thus off the table.

The pressure on the senators was great. Before the vote, they were sent letters and e-mail from various sources. Many concerned and affected organizations and citizens tried to influence this highly-charged issue.

Ahead of the debate, particularly the Medical Association FMH (to which belong more than 40,000 physicians) and doctors of AefU [Doctors for the Protection of the Environment] urged Councillors to refrain from voting for an increase in limit values because of the unclear health effects of mobile phone radiation. The FMH pointed out that the World Health Organization (WHO) is currently investigating new studies, the results of which are to be available only in 2018.

The Microwave Menace Is Zapping Us All, Warns Writer Paul Brodeur
by Jim Jerome, people.com/archive, 30 January 1978

“A lot of people hold on to the notion,” says author Paul Brodeur, “that what you can’t see can’t hurt you. If I’ve learned anything in my last 10 years of work, it’s that what you can’t see can kill you.” Brodeur’s enemies list of environmental hazards to human life includes detergent enzymes, cancer-causing asbestos fibers and ozone-depleting fluorocarbons in spray cans. But none of these, he claims, is so chillingly insidious and pervasive as the subject of his latest investigative work, The Zapping of America—namely, microwave radiation. Americans, says Brodeur, are routinely “zapped” by missile-tracking radars, TV transmitters, microwave ovens and even CB radios, exposing them to potentially injurious or even lethal doses of radiation. Moreover, he claims, the full danger of microwaves has been self-servingly denied—or covered up—by the so-called “military-industrial complex. “A Boston-area native and graduate of Andover and Harvard, Brodeur worked in Army Counterintelligence in Germany during the mid-’50s before joining The New Yorker as a staff writer. A resident of Manhattan, Brodeur, 46, recently discussed microwave radiation with PEOPLE’S Jim Jerome at Brodeur’s Cape Cod vacation home.

Switzerland: Vaudois and Genevois Against Antenna Radiation

Vaudois and Genevois against antenna radiation
by Arthur Grosjean@arthurflash, Tribune de Genève, 8 December 2016 (translated by the Editor of "Towards Better Health")

Mobile telephony:  The senators refused to increase the power of antennas, deeming that health effects are not insignificant

The telecoms operators will not be able to increase the power of mobile phone antennas.  The Council of States refused any easing [of the norms] as the motion of the Federal Council had requested.  The vote was very close, 20 against, 19 for, and 3 abstentions.  Party affiliation did not play a decisive role.

The motion had, however, received large support in the commission.  The rapporteur Hans Wiki (PLR/NW) explained at length the need to ease current norms.  "There are more than 15,000 antennas in Switzerland and 6,000 have already reached the authorized limit value.  A modest adaptation of these values would allow us to benefit from good coverage of the mobile network, indispensable for the population and the economy."  He reiterated that the transfer of data is exploding and that, in four years, 20 to 30 million objects will be connected in Switzerland in an increasingly digitized society.

Switzerland: News from Parliament: Council of States Buries Motion on Easing Non-Ionizing Radiation Norms

News from the Swiss Parliament
rts.info, 8 December 2016

Mobile telephony:  No question of easing radiation norms

The Council of States has buried a motion by the National Council on limit values for non-ionizing radiation by a narrow margin (20 votes against, 19 for, and 3 abstentions).

The Upper Chamber believes there is no question of placing the demands of the operators before the health of the population because there exists too much doubt about the effects of these rays.

The development of the mobile network is being held back in Switzerland by very strict conditions regarding protection against non-ionizing radiation, pleaded Hans Wicki (PLR/NW).  Lowering norms could facilitate construction of new mobile phone antennas.

The only other option is to contruct thousands of new base stations.  Of the 15,000 existing mobile phone installations, more than 6,000 have already reached the authorized limit values.

Samsung's Aggressive Battery Design Led to the Galaxy Note 7 Explosions

The battery for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had very
thin margins for safety.
Report: Samsung's aggressive battery design led to the Galaxy Note 7 explosions
by Alan F., phonearena.com, 4 December 2016

According to a new report, Samsung's aggressive design for the battery employed by the Galaxy Note 7might have been the culprit behind the multiple explosions that led the company to pull the phablet from the market. The way the cell was designed, a pair of polymer layers drenched in electrolytes was used to separate a positive layer made of lithium cobalt oxide, and a negative layer made of graphite. Should those two layers meet, the electrolytes would heat up causing an explosion.

As the report points out, compressing the battery would force the positive and negative layers to squeeze together. Samsung itself said that it might have been too aggressive with the design. In addition, there is a normal amount of swelling that takes place. Some of it comes from the pressure on the battery created through pushing on the back cover (for example, by putting the phone in one's back pocket and then sitting on a chair).

The Link Between Electromagnetic Pollution and Lyme Disease and How to Remediate Your Environment for a Faster Recovery

The Link Between Electromagnetic Pollution and Lyme Disease and How to Remediate Your Environment for a Faster Recovery
by Connie Strasheim • www.ProHealth.com • December 2, 2016

We are all awash in a sea of electromagnetic fields (EMFs), which come from a variety of sources, including power lines, cell phones, smart meters, Wi-Fi, microwave towers, appliances and other places. Hundreds, if not thousands of studies have proven the detrimental effects of manmade electromagnetic fields upon the body, yet the amount of electromagnetic fields in the environment increases exponentially every year.

What’s more, studies have shown that pathogenic microbes multiply more quickly and act more virulently in the presence of EMFs and that healthy, beneficial bacteria that the body needs to fight disease multiply more slowly. If you have Lyme disease this is important to understand as it means that your recovery can become compromised if you are living in a high-EMF environment.

Thomas Rau, MD of the renowned Swiss Paracelsus Clinic stated in an interview on ElectromagneticHealth.org: “Cultures of normal human endogenous bacterial cultures grow much less when exposed to EMR. They grow less when they are around a mobile phone, a tower or cordless phone. Growing less good bacteria in your body means you will have an overgrowth of bad bacteria that can result in things like Lyme disease. Especially from the east coast of the USA, we have many patients with Lyme.”

In 2014, Belgium Banned Mobile Phones and Mobile Phone Advertising for Children

The sale of this type of mobile phone
for children under age 7 is banned
in Belgium.
Mobile Phones and Children
health.belgium.be, 12 January 2016

The use of the mobile phone by children is a special point of attention. Children may be more sensitive to radio waves. Children absorb twice as much radiation in the brain than adults do, and 10 times more in the bone marrow of the skull. In addition, due to the popularity of the mobile phone, the cumulative exposure of the current generation of children will be much higher by the time they reach their adulthood than that of the current adults. Therefore, caution is called for.

For this reason, from the 1st of March 2014 no mobile phone which has been designed specifically for small children, may be brought on to the Belgian market. It concerns adapted mobile phones, meant for kids under 7 years of age, e.g. with only a few keys, with a form attractive to children.

An investigative report shows how contaminated air enters the cockpit.

In the cockpit and in the cabin of the Airbus A330 of Swiss the smell of hydraulic oil spread five minutes after take-off in Zurich. The 34-year-old pilot experienced headaches and put on the oxygen mask...  The pilot made the right decision, says the Swiss safety investigation authority (SUST). It has published its report on the "serious incident" of 26 November 2015 this week. The hydraulic oil from the manufacturer Exxon, which got into the air, was a potential hazard. The passengers and crew were exposed to the toxic vapors for another hour. The fully-fueled aircraft was too heavy for a landing. Therefore, it circulated an hour in the waiting queue to burn kerosene. Several passengers and flight attendants suffered nausea and headaches. A stewardess suffered disturbances of taste and smell the following day.

Prof. Belpomme:  "Electrosensitivity is not a psychiatric illness"
by Sylvie Dellus, santemagazine.fr, 11 January 2016 (translated by the Editor of "Towards Better Health")

A battery of tests is sufficient to diagnose hypersensitivity to electromagnetic waves.  The results of a study led by Prof. Belpomme have just been published in a scientific revue.  He answers our questions.

For several years, Prof. Dominique Belpomme, oncologist, has been interested in the phenomenon of intolerance to electromagnetic waves (from cell phones, Wi-Fi...) and sensitivity to multiple chemical products, two syndromes which have many points in common.

In his latest study, results were just published in "Reviews on Environmental Health", he highlights anomalies in the blood and urine.  The diagnosis is based on a battery of tests.  Treatment can be proposed.  Prof. Belpomme explains.

Summary of French TV Program "C à vous" : Interview with Professor Dominique Belpomme

We have had a request for a transcript of the interview with Professor Dominique Belpomme during the French TV program, "C à vous" which aired on 6 April 2016 on the theme "Taking better care of ourselves".  The entire program is not available to us in Switzerland, however, we have access to a 10-minute segment which includes the interview with Prof. Belpomme. (View segment in French.)  Following is a summary of this segment by the Editor of "Towards Better Health".

Anne Sophie Lapix, presenter of the program, refers to Prof. Belpomme's newest book, "Comment naissent les maladies" [how do diseases arise?] where he says 70-90% of cancers are linked to the environment.

Prof. Belpomme replies that especially now, there is molecular proof.   He refers to "epigenetics": the study of changes in organisms caused by modification of gene expression. Radiation, chemical substances, microbes modify proteins in the cell and gene expression which explains why cancers in particular are linked to the environment.

"In Colombia, not a single medical doctor is trained in any of the universities to treat this problem [microwave syndrome]. Plus, being a medical doctor, I know of the IGNORANCE and DOGMATISM of the medical profession."

The Dr. Carlos Sosa M.D. Story

electrosensitivesociety.com, (date unknown)

Please let me introduce myself. My name is Dr. Carlos Sosa, M.D. (physician and surgeon) and I’m presently living in Medellin, Colombia in South America.

During the month of May 2006, I was forced to leave my house because of the symptoms caused to me and my family by the microwaves of a wireless Internet (WiFi) mast (or antenna). The structure had been in our building for nearly three years and the company that owned it had been slowly raising the transmission frequency.

In May/06 I started feeling a terrible sense of unwellness: headaches, dizziness, insomnia, nausea, irritability, amnesia or forgetfulness and lack of attention or concentration capacity. I couldn’t bear being close to my house or to any other microwave mast, be it cell phone or WiFi antennas. I had to leave my house together with my whole family just to find out that the city was flooded by some 4000 masts that wouldn’t ‘t leave a single irradiated spot for us to live in.

Criticism of the Wi-Fi Directives for Use in Schools in the Canton of Geneva

Criticism of the Wi-Fi directives for use in primary and secondary schools in the canton of Geneva
by Meris Michaels, 25 November 2016

Following is our criticism of the Wi-Fi directives for use in primary and secondary schools in the canton of Geneva, cited by the Geneva State Councillor in charge of education in reply to ARA's letter on digital technology in schools.  They are based on WHO and ICNIRP recommendations, acknowledge only thermal effects on health, and do not take into account the growing numbers of electrohypersensitive persons.  They are outdated and ignore the many independent scientific studies showing biological health effects.

The directives were issued in November 2010 and updated in June 2015. They cite WHO Fact Sheet no. 304 on EM fields and public health dated May 2006 - the link to the French version is invalid.  It concludes, "considering the very low exposure levels and research results collected to date, there is no convincing scientific evidence that the weak RF signals from base stations and wireless networks cause adverse health effects."

To say the least, for the past 11 years, electromagnetic waves have been ruining my life. They are a slow poison to my health. And the poison is everyhwere: relay antennas, mobile phones, Wi-Fi, cordless phones, microwave ovens, and electricity. Pure hell.

To save myself, I am tinkering with ersatz solutions.

When the pressure in my head from the waves becomes too painful, I wrap my skull in aluminum foil from eyebrows to neck. This makes a screen against the waves which bounce off, and in ten minutes, the suffering has lessened. I do the same in the subway, which I take almost never because, after four stops, I feel my head squeezed while a drill incessantly perforates each ear, back and forth. The effect is similar with the mobile phone blockers at the movies: pain, like hitting my head against a wall. I always have a roll of aluminum foil in my handbag, but the look from other people is difficult to bear. I feel very ill at ease.

Health News from Geneva

Pregnant women should use mobile phones for
emergency purposes only.
Health News from Geneva
by Meris Michaels, 20 November 2016, Updated 12 December 2016

On 8 December 2016, the State Council of the Swiss Parliament voted against the increase of limit values for mobile phone installations: 20 to 19 with 3 abstentions.  Actions were launched to encourage the Senators to oppose this motion through petitions (one with over 5,000 signatures) and letters from associations and individuals.  The senators from cantons Geneva and Vaud voted against the motion and some of them even replied to the messages from electrosensitive persons.  Two doctors' associations joined in awareness-raising:  Doctors for the Protection of the Environment and the Swiss Medical Association (FMH), comprising 40,000 physicians.  Diagnose-funk, an environmental and consumer protection organization regarding mobile technology, sent information to all the senators on how we are misinformed on this issue and requesting them to place health above the economy.

Professor Luc Montagnier participated in a conference on autism in Geneva on 11 November 2016.1   Serious concerns were raised by presenters and participants regarding the dangers of electromagnetic (EM) radiation. Prof. Montagnier emphasized the importance of raising awareness of the entire population of this health issue.  Pregnant women in particular should be protected.  Prof. Montagnier clearly stated that health should take precedence over the economy.

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus is one of the world’s rapidly increasing health crisis. Researchers in Saudi Arabia have just made a clear link between exposure to radiation from mobile phone towers and Diabetes Mellitus.

  • 415 million adults have diabetes, and according to the International Diabetes Federation, this will rise to 642 million people suffering from diabetes by 2040. This means the following:
  • Every 6 seconds someone dies from diabetes (5 million deaths)
  • 1 in 7 births is affected by gestational diabetes
  • 1 in 11 adults have diabetes (415 million people)
  • in 2040, 1 in 10 adults will have diabetes (642 million people)

The Secret Killer: Wireless Pollution Is Out of Control

The Secret Killer | Wireless Pollution Is Out Of Control
oye.news, 27 October 2016

Over the past 20 years, we have seen wireless technology develop very rapidly and it’s usage is now as commonplace as electricity and free running water. Most households now use wireless technology for their Laptops, Televisions, iPod’s, Games Consoles, Smart Meters, and even kitchen appliances are beginning to be launched with wireless technology as part of the ‘smart grid’.

Wifi hotspots are now in most cities and most schools use wireless technology now. So we are living in a sea of invisible frequencies and there is no negative effect on life, right?

Carsickness complaints: Family is 'miserable,' company aware of concerns
by Sarah Sell, WZZM, 14 November 2016

HOLLAND, MICH. - There's been no recall, but drivers of several large SUV's say their GM vehicles are making them sick.

The complaints have been acknowledged by the automaker -- a Holland-area family says there is no solution to the problem. That family contacted WZZM 13 On Your Side for help.

"I had vertigo, nausea, migraine, the whole way down, the whole way back from Florida…part of it would be a constant pressure on your ears… it's just miserable”, says Barb Francis.

It all started back in November 2014 when she and her husband paid just more $60,000 for a new 2015 Suburban at DeNooyer Chevrolet in Holland.

Virtual Reality Headsets Concern Doctors

“The immediate concerns are with the younger users because they will be prone to use them for much longer periods of time,” explained Dr. Rizzo. Those concerns include what this might mean for a young, developing brains. “You need to understand whether the brain is changing in some permanent way.” There’s also a possible increased risk of becoming near-sighted.  [No mention of exposing the brain to electromagnetic radiation.]

Virtual Reality Headsets Concern Doctors

by Dr. Mallika Marshall, boston.cbslocal.com, 14 November 2016

BOSTON (CBS) – It’s expected to be the hot holiday gift of the season: virtual reality headsets. We know it’s a cool new experience but there’s still a lot we don’t know about the technology, especially when it comes to kids.

The headset completely immerses users in a new 3D virtual world. “I felt like I was actually there.” said one first-time user. “There’s no age limit to this,” said another virtual reality fan.

But there actually is an age limit. Many of the top selling brands warn against kids using the device. Oculus Rift and Samsung VR Gear say it’s not for kids under 13. Sony PlayStation is recommended for kids 12 and up. And the HTC Vive is less specific, just saying it’s not for young children.

Mobile Link to Reduced Male Fertility: Study

Mobile link to reduced male fertility: study
by Sam Varghese, itwire.com, 16 November 2016

Scientists at the University of Newcastle have found that a majority of studies looking for possible negative effects of mobile phone use on the male reproductive system have indicated that there could be truth to such claims.

Twenty-one of 27 studies looked at by the researchers showed that mobile phone use was associated with reduced sperm motility. Seven out of seven that measured production of reactive oxygen species showed elevated levels.

And four of five studies that examined DNA damage showed increased damage due to exposure to the radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation (RF-EMR) emitted by mobile devices.

"In general, these data lend support to the notion that RF-EMR can significantly impair key aspects of sperm function including the motility and vitality of these cells and the integrity of their DNA," the scientists said in their 14-page article which has been published in Reproduction, the journal of the Society for Reproduction and Fertility. The report was published online in September and will be in print next month.

13 Investigates cellphones and cancer: Is the risk real?
by Bob Segall, wthr.com, 14 November 2016

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — You carry your cellphone with you all the time, and it is constantly transmitting invisible electromagnetic energy. For years, there's been debate about that radiation and whether it can cause cancer. A new study suggests there actually might be a hidden danger. 13 Investigates explains what you need to know about the science -- and the easy steps you can take right now to help reduce possible risk.

Craig and Virginia Farver say their son Richard was perfectly healthy one moment, and the next, he was fighting for his life.

"Brain cancer is what he was diagnosed with," said Virginia, holding a graduation photo of her son. "The doctor said it was a glioblastoma."

Easing of Swiss norms - the ignorance of our elected officials
ARA (alerte.ch), 15 November 2016 (translated by the Editor of "Towards Better Health")

During its winter session [on 8 December 2016] the Council of States will vote on easing of Swiss norms.  Unfortunately, our elected officials are largely ignorant about the health risks posed by the uncontrolled increase in electromagnetic pollution.  These last weeks, many voices from individuals as well as organizations have been raised against this easing.  On 15 November 2016, our association ARA sent the following letter in French and in German to all members of the Council of States.  The umbrella association, Electrosmog Switzerland and Liechtenstein which oversees 21 organizations fighting actively against electrosmog, has done the same.

Motion 16.3007 concerning increase in limit values of mobile phone installations

Madame, Sir,

On 16 June 2016, the National Council adopted by 96 to 89 votes and three abstentions the amendment to the Ordinance on limit values for non-ionizing radiation, an easing of the norms in place that would lower protection of the population. We draw your attention to the increase in the number of independent scientific studies mentioning the danger of non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation emitted by telecommunication devices (mobile phones, Wi-Fi, antennas, etc.).

National Toxicology Program Report on Cancer Risk from Cellphone Radiation
by Dr. Joel Moskowitz, thegreengazette.ca, 7 September 2016

On May 26, the National Toxicology Program (NTP) of the National Institutes of Health issued the first in a series of reports that contains partial findings from their long-awaited $25 million study of the cancer risk from cellphone radiation. This report summarizes the study of long-term exposure to cell phone radiation on rats. The report on mice will be issued at a later date.

According to the report:

“Given the widespread global usage of mobile communications among users of all ages, even a very small increase in the incidence of disease resulting from exposure to RFR [radiofrequency radiation] could have broad implications for public health.”

The National Toxicology Program’s Cell Phone Study and Autism

The National Toxicology Program’s Cell Phone Study and Autism
Clear Light Ventures, 7 October 2016

In May 2016, the National Toxicology Program (NTP), a division of the National Institute of Health, pre-released partial findings from a $25 million study on long-term exposure to cell phone radiation on rats. The study did, in fact, find cancer in rats exposed to cell phone radiation.[1] Cancer was found in approximately 5% of the exposed male rats, but no cancer was found in the female rats. Could greater male susceptibility to wireless radiation help to explain the 4:1 ratio of male to female autism cases?

The plausibility of wireless radiation and EMF (electromagnetic fields) as a contributing environmental factor in autism has been explored in several published papers[2,3] and talks[4]. Are there findings from this study that would lend weight and evidence to the hypothesis that wireless radiation is an environmental factor which could contribute to the rising autism epidemic?

It should also be noted that this study used older 2G cellular technology. Higher power and newer technologies like 3G, 4G (LTE) and 5G are likely to be more harmful. The current 5G rollout should be halted until it is tested for health and safety. The American Academy of Pediatricians is recommending that consumers take immediate action to reduce their exposures.[5]

New Results from Interphone Confirm Glioma Risk Associated with Use of Mobile Phones

"The correct interpretation of [the Interphone] study is simply that it confirms an increased risk for glioma associated with mobile phone use."

New results from Interphone confirm glioma risk associated with use of mobile phones
Lennart Hardell's blog, 8 November 2016

The Interphone study included 13 countries during the study period 2000 – 2004. The major results were published after a delay of 6 years in 2010. In a new publication 12 years after the study period, the intracranial distribution of glioma in relation to radiofrequency (RF) radiation from mobile phones was analyzed. Tumour localization for 792 regular mobile phone users was analyzed in relation to distance from preferred ear for mobile phone use.

They Are Killing Us With Chemtrails In Switzerland!!!! (Stunning Pictures)
TRUTHER / pakalertpress.com (article posted around 15 September 2014) via "What in the world are they spraying"

I live in the Valais in Switzerland, a once beautiful area with breathtaking views, once boasting over 300 sunny blue skies a year. This was due to the fact that we are surrounded by the Alps which create a natural block to the passage of clouds. Unfortunately this is a thing of the past. We are lucky if we have 50 full blue skies a year now. In any event I have counted no less than 300 days of chemtrail spraying within the last year alone and have photo graphic evidence of each day of spraying since August 2011!

[Comments on photos]

I have over 10’000 photos that I’ve taken since I “discovered” chemtrails…

Cell phones emit microwave radio-frequency radiation. Fact.

This radiation has the ability to penetrate our bodies. Fact.

Our governments do virtually nothing to protect us from these dangers. Fact.

And yet there is strong evidence, multiple peer reviewed studies, to indicate that cell phones cause cancer and other diseases.

Take a look for yourself at these facts.

But first let’s just consider what cancer is.

Institutes in the Lead: Identifying Environmental Factors in Breast Cancer

The Interagency Breast Cancer and Environmental Research Coordinating Committee pointed out that only about 10–11% of federally funded breast cancer research focuses on environmental contributions to breast cancer. “Breast cancer prevention is underfunded at the federal level in both research and public health programs, and future investments must focus on this area,” they wrote.  “Enhanced investments would facilitate sustained coordination across research and regulatory agencies with the objective of reducing or eliminating harmful environmental exposures and modifying social and lifestyle factors implicated in breast cancer.”

In a way, it all started in Long Island, New York. The year was 1993. An apparent cluster of breast cancer cases had been discovered in Nassau and Suffolk counties, and some residents worried that pesticide applications on former farmland could be to blame.1 They demanded an investigation. The U.S. Congress soon agreed and asked the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) and the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to research the potential role of environmental exposures in these cases.1 In the decades since, these institutes have conducted and funded countless studies on potential environmental risk factors for breast cancer.2

Doctors confirm thyroid cancer is increasing rapidly in Sweden
stralskyddsstiftelsen.se (Swedish Radiation Protection Foundation), 26 October 2016

A new scientific article from leading Swedish epidemiologist and oncologist Lennart Hardell’s research team confirms that there is a substantial increase in patients diagnosed with thyroid cancer during recent years in Sweden as well as in other Nordic countries. The increase has coincided with the growing use of so called ”smart phones”. These popular phones expose the radiation sensitive thyroid gland to high radiation due to the antenna’s placement at the lower part of the device. Another possible factor behind the increase is increased use of computed tomography in health care.

Portable computers are often used at tight contact with the body and therefore are called “laptop”. This is an improper site for the use of a Personal Computer, which consequently should be renamed to not induce customers towards an improper use.

About laptop health, an interesting study was made by Department of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Reproduction Medicine, University of Siena.

The authors measured electromagnetic fields (EMFs) laptop computers produce and estimated the induced currents in the body, to assess the safety of laptop computers.
