Has the WHO EMF Project Been Hijacked by ICNIRP?

The canton of Geneva is just one of the many official bodies throughout the world citing the guidelines of ICNIRP and WHO claiming "no health effects" from exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields in its directive for use of Wi-Fi in schools.

If you haven't already done so, please sign the the appeal, "Vote of no confidence in WHO's EMF Project":

Dr. Lennart Hardell has placed the appeal on his Web site with a detailed explanation.

In 2014, Belgium Banned Mobile Phones and Mobile Phone Advertising for Children

The sale of this type of mobile phone
for children under age 7 is banned
in Belgium.
Mobile Phones and Children
health.belgium.be, 12 January 2016

The use of the mobile phone by children is a special point of attention. Children may be more sensitive to radio waves. Children absorb twice as much radiation in the brain than adults do, and 10 times more in the bone marrow of the skull. In addition, due to the popularity of the mobile phone, the cumulative exposure of the current generation of children will be much higher by the time they reach their adulthood than that of the current adults. Therefore, caution is called for.

For this reason, from the 1st of March 2014 no mobile phone which has been designed specifically for small children, may be brought on to the Belgian market. It concerns adapted mobile phones, meant for kids under 7 years of age, e.g. with only a few keys, with a form attractive to children.

Toxic Fumes on Board: Swiss Warns Its Staff

Toxic fumes on board: Swiss warns its staff
by Andreas Maurer, Schweiz am Sonntag,
26 November 2016 (translated by Google with grammatical corrections)

Andreas Maurer is an editor at "Schweiz am Sonntag".

An investigative report shows how contaminated air enters the cockpit.

In the cockpit and in the cabin of the Airbus A330 of Swiss the smell of hydraulic oil spread five minutes after take-off in Zurich. The 34-year-old pilot experienced headaches and put on the oxygen mask...  The pilot made the right decision, says the Swiss safety investigation authority (SUST). It has published its report on the "serious incident" of 26 November 2015 this week. The hydraulic oil from the manufacturer Exxon, which got into the air, was a potential hazard. The passengers and crew were exposed to the toxic vapors for another hour. The fully-fueled aircraft was too heavy for a landing. Therefore, it circulated an hour in the waiting queue to burn kerosene. Several passengers and flight attendants suffered nausea and headaches. A stewardess suffered disturbances of taste and smell the following day.

Professor Dominique Belpomme: "Electrosensitivity is Not a Psychiatric Illness"

We have had another request for translation of an interview on electrohypersensitivity with Professor Dominique Belpomme.

Link to full text of study, "Reliable disease biomarkers characterizing and identifying electrohypersensitivity and multiple chemical sensitivity as two etiopathogenic aspects of a unique pathological disorder."

Prof. Belpomme:  "Electrosensitivity is not a psychiatric illness"
by Sylvie Dellus, santemagazine.fr, 11 January 2016 (translated by the Editor of "Towards Better Health")

A battery of tests is sufficient to diagnose hypersensitivity to electromagnetic waves.  The results of a study led by Prof. Belpomme have just been published in a scientific revue.  He answers our questions.

For several years, Prof. Dominique Belpomme, oncologist, has been interested in the phenomenon of intolerance to electromagnetic waves (from cell phones, Wi-Fi...) and sensitivity to multiple chemical products, two syndromes which have many points in common.

In his latest study, results were just published in "Reviews on Environmental Health", he highlights anomalies in the blood and urine.  The diagnosis is based on a battery of tests.  Treatment can be proposed.  Prof. Belpomme explains.

Summary of French TV Program "C à vous" : Interview with Professor Dominique Belpomme

We have had a request for a transcript of the interview with Professor Dominique Belpomme during the French TV program, "C à vous" which aired on 6 April 2016 on the theme "Taking better care of ourselves".  The entire program is not available to us in Switzerland, however, we have access to a 10-minute segment which includes the interview with Prof. Belpomme. (View segment in French.)  Following is a summary of this segment by the Editor of "Towards Better Health".

Anne Sophie Lapix, presenter of the program, refers to Prof. Belpomme's newest book, "Comment naissent les maladies" [how do diseases arise?] where he says 70-90% of cancers are linked to the environment.

Prof. Belpomme replies that especially now, there is molecular proof.   He refers to "epigenetics": the study of changes in organisms caused by modification of gene expression. Radiation, chemical substances, microbes modify proteins in the cell and gene expression which explains why cancers in particular are linked to the environment.

This article includes two testimonies of parents whose children became very sick from exposure to Wi-Fi.

"Our children are part of a giant global experiment. As parents, we don’t have to apologize for questioning the health implications of wireless technology. Whether it’s expressing your concern to a school board member or turning off your router at night, every action counts."

Wi-Fi in schools
by Andrea Fabry, it-takes-time.com, July 2016

Does Wi-Fi belong in school? What are the health risks of Wi-Fi in schools? What can concerned parents do?

Wireless technology permeates society. It’s in our coffee shops, offices, homes, and schools. But does Wi-Fi come with a cost?

Experts around the world say it does. More than 20 countries have taken a precautionary approach to wireless technology, including France, Israel, Russia, India, and Belgium.

A Physician's Testimony of His Electrohypersensitivity

"In Colombia, not a single medical doctor is trained in any of the universities to treat this problem [microwave syndrome]. It’s simply not taught anywhere in pre-graduate or graduate programs in medical schools around the country. Plus, being a medical doctor, I know of the IGNORANCE and DOGMATISM of the medical profession."

The Dr. Carlos Sosa M.D. Story

electrosensitivesociety.com, (date unknown)

Please let me introduce myself. My name is Dr. Carlos Sosa, M.D. (physician and surgeon) and I’m presently living in Medellin, Colombia in South America.

During the month of May 2006, I was forced to leave my house because of the symptoms caused to me and my family by the microwaves of a wireless Internet (WiFi) mast (or antenna). The structure had been in our building for nearly three years and the company that owned it had been slowly raising the transmission frequency.

In May/06 I started feeling a terrible sense of unwellness: headaches, dizziness, insomnia, nausea, irritability, amnesia or forgetfulness and lack of attention or concentration capacity. I couldn’t bear being close to my house or to any other microwave mast, be it cell phone or WiFi antennas. I had to leave my house together with my whole family just to find out that the city was flooded by some 4000 masts that wouldn’t ‘t leave a single irradiated spot for us to live in.

Criticism of the Wi-Fi Directives for Use in Schools in the Canton of Geneva

Criticism of the Wi-Fi directives for use in primary and secondary schools in the canton of Geneva
by Meris Michaels, 25 November 2016

Following is our criticism of the Wi-Fi directives for use in primary and secondary schools in the canton of Geneva, cited by the Geneva State Councillor in charge of education in reply to ARA's letter on digital technology in schools.  They are based on WHO and ICNIRP recommendations, acknowledge only thermal effects on health, and do not take into account the growing numbers of electrohypersensitive persons.  They are outdated and ignore the many independent scientific studies showing biological health effects.

The directives were issued in November 2010 and updated in June 2015. They cite WHO Fact Sheet no. 304 on EM fields and public health dated May 2006 - the link to the French version is invalid.  It concludes, "considering the very low exposure levels and research results collected to date, there is no convincing scientific evidence that the weak RF signals from base stations and wireless networks cause adverse health effects."

I Am Electrosensitive

This poignant testimony from an electrohypersensitive person, published in the popular French magazine, "Marie Claire" was missed by us.  We have translated it for all to read.

I am electrosensitive
by Véronique Houguet, marieclaire.fr,
July 2014

Wi-Fi, relay antennas, smartphones... Marie no longer can stand waves which make her sick. How can one live a life that is saturated with them?

Electrohypersensitivity: what is it?

To say the least, for the past 11 years, electromagnetic waves have been ruining my life. They are a slow poison to my health. And the poison is everyhwere: relay antennas, mobile phones, Wi-Fi, cordless phones, microwave ovens, and electricity. Pure hell.

To save myself, I am tinkering with ersatz solutions.

When the pressure in my head from the waves becomes too painful, I wrap my skull in aluminum foil from eyebrows to neck. This makes a screen against the waves which bounce off, and in ten minutes, the suffering has lessened. I do the same in the subway, which I take almost never because, after four stops, I feel my head squeezed while a drill incessantly perforates each ear, back and forth. The effect is similar with the mobile phone blockers at the movies: pain, like hitting my head against a wall. I always have a roll of aluminum foil in my handbag, but the look from other people is difficult to bear. I feel very ill at ease.

The Secret Killer: Wireless Pollution Is Out of Control

The Secret Killer | Wireless Pollution Is Out Of Control
oye.news, 27 October 2016

Over the past 20 years, we have seen wireless technology develop very rapidly and it’s usage is now as commonplace as electricity and free running water. Most households now use wireless technology for their Laptops, Televisions, iPod’s, Games Consoles, Smart Meters, and even kitchen appliances are beginning to be launched with wireless technology as part of the ‘smart grid’.

Wifi hotspots are now in most cities and most schools use wireless technology now. So we are living in a sea of invisible frequencies and there is no negative effect on life, right?

Carsickness complaints: Family is 'miserable,' company aware of concerns
by Sarah Sell, WZZM, 14 November 2016

HOLLAND, MICH. - There's been no recall, but drivers of several large SUV's say their GM vehicles are making them sick.

The complaints have been acknowledged by the automaker -- a Holland-area family says there is no solution to the problem. That family contacted WZZM 13 On Your Side for help.

"I had vertigo, nausea, migraine, the whole way down, the whole way back from Florida…part of it would be a constant pressure on your ears… it's just miserable”, says Barb Francis.

It all started back in November 2014 when she and her husband paid just more $60,000 for a new 2015 Suburban at DeNooyer Chevrolet in Holland.

Virtual Reality Headsets Concern Doctors

“The immediate concerns are with the younger users because they will be prone to use them for much longer periods of time,” explained Dr. Rizzo. Those concerns include what this might mean for a young, developing brains. “You need to understand whether the brain is changing in some permanent way.” There’s also a possible increased risk of becoming near-sighted.  [No mention of exposing the brain to electromagnetic radiation.]

Virtual Reality Headsets Concern Doctors

by Dr. Mallika Marshall, boston.cbslocal.com, 14 November 2016

BOSTON (CBS) – It’s expected to be the hot holiday gift of the season: virtual reality headsets. We know it’s a cool new experience but there’s still a lot we don’t know about the technology, especially when it comes to kids.

The headset completely immerses users in a new 3D virtual world. “I felt like I was actually there.” said one first-time user. “There’s no age limit to this,” said another virtual reality fan.

But there actually is an age limit. Many of the top selling brands warn against kids using the device. Oculus Rift and Samsung VR Gear say it’s not for kids under 13. Sony PlayStation is recommended for kids 12 and up. And the HTC Vive is less specific, just saying it’s not for young children.

13 Investigates cellphones and cancer: Is the risk real?
by Bob Segall, wthr.com, 14 November 2016

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — You carry your cellphone with you all the time, and it is constantly transmitting invisible electromagnetic energy. For years, there's been debate about that radiation and whether it can cause cancer. A new study suggests there actually might be a hidden danger. 13 Investigates explains what you need to know about the science -- and the easy steps you can take right now to help reduce possible risk.

Craig and Virginia Farver say their son Richard was perfectly healthy one moment, and the next, he was fighting for his life.

"Brain cancer is what he was diagnosed with," said Virginia, holding a graduation photo of her son. "The doctor said it was a glioblastoma."

Easing of Swiss norms - the ignorance of our elected officials
ARA (alerte.ch), 15 November 2016 (translated by the Editor of "Towards Better Health")

During its winter session [on 8 December 2016] the Council of States will vote on easing of Swiss norms.  Unfortunately, our elected officials are largely ignorant about the health risks posed by the uncontrolled increase in electromagnetic pollution.  These last weeks, many voices from individuals as well as organizations have been raised against this easing.  On 15 November 2016, our association ARA sent the following letter in French and in German to all members of the Council of States.  The umbrella association, Electrosmog Switzerland and Liechtenstein which oversees 21 organizations fighting actively against electrosmog, has done the same.

Motion 16.3007 concerning increase in limit values of mobile phone installations

Madame, Sir,

On 16 June 2016, the National Council adopted by 96 to 89 votes and three abstentions the amendment to the Ordinance on limit values for non-ionizing radiation, an easing of the norms in place that would lower protection of the population. We draw your attention to the increase in the number of independent scientific studies mentioning the danger of non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation emitted by telecommunication devices (mobile phones, Wi-Fi, antennas, etc.).

They Are Killing Us With Chemtrails In Switzerland!!!! (Stunning Pictures)
TRUTHER / pakalertpress.com (article posted around 15 September 2014) via "What in the world are they spraying"

I live in the Valais in Switzerland, a once beautiful area with breathtaking views, once boasting over 300 sunny blue skies a year. This was due to the fact that we are surrounded by the Alps which create a natural block to the passage of clouds. Unfortunately this is a thing of the past. We are lucky if we have 50 full blue skies a year now. In any event I have counted no less than 300 days of chemtrail spraying within the last year alone and have photo graphic evidence of each day of spraying since August 2011!

[Comments on photos]

I have over 10’000 photos that I’ve taken since I “discovered” chemtrails…

Cell phones emit microwave radio-frequency radiation. Fact.

This radiation has the ability to penetrate our bodies. Fact.

Our governments do virtually nothing to protect us from these dangers. Fact.

And yet there is strong evidence, multiple peer reviewed studies, to indicate that cell phones cause cancer and other diseases.

Take a look for yourself at these facts.

But first let’s just consider what cancer is.

Doctors confirm thyroid cancer is increasing rapidly in Sweden
stralskyddsstiftelsen.se (Swedish Radiation Protection Foundation), 26 October 2016

A new scientific article from leading Swedish epidemiologist and oncologist Lennart Hardell’s research team confirms that there is a substantial increase in patients diagnosed with thyroid cancer during recent years in Sweden as well as in other Nordic countries. The increase has coincided with the growing use of so called ”smart phones”. These popular phones expose the radiation sensitive thyroid gland to high radiation due to the antenna’s placement at the lower part of the device. Another possible factor behind the increase is increased use of computed tomography in health care.

Portable computers are often used at tight contact with the body and therefore are called “laptop”. This is an improper site for the use of a Personal Computer, which consequently should be renamed to not induce customers towards an improper use.

About laptop health, an interesting study was made by Department of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Reproduction Medicine, University of Siena.

The authors measured electromagnetic fields (EMFs) laptop computers produce and estimated the induced currents in the body, to assess the safety of laptop computers.

More awake, more tired, more forgetful

A new study demonstrates that calling with a mobile phone affects mental performance, cell nuclei and DNA. Special attention should be paid to the exposure of children and adolescents.

If you sum up the time spent by Austrians in calling with mobile phones and smartphones in 2015, you reach an imposing number: 39,673 years. This corresponds to the period from the beginning of the first cave paintings of Homo sapiens to the present day. For us as their modern descendants, only a few hours of mobile telephony are needed to produce demonstrable changes in cognitive performance (perceiving, thinking, deciding, reacting), cell nuclei and DNA.
