FACT #1 Children absorb more of this radiation than adults. “The average exposure from use of the same mobile phone is higher by a factor of 2 in a child’s brain and higher by a factor of 10 in the bone marrow of the skull.” The World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer’s (IARC) 2011 Monograph on Radio Frequency Fields; the complete monograph is downloadable on the IARC web site.

FACT #2 US exposure standards do not protect children. Standards are 18 years old and based on the radiation absorption into a model of 200-pound, 6-foot tall male brain (called the SAM). Wireless radiation standards do not protect the 97% of the population with heads smaller than this adult male SAM model. Read more about children's absorption compared to adults and all about the research that informed the picture above here.

Why Highways Should Isolate Self-Driving Cars in Special Smart Lanes

Why highways should isolate self-driving cars in special smart lanes

The race is on. Tech giants like Google, Tesla and most car makers — from Toyota to Ford and Volvo — are betting billions to get intelligent self-driving cars on the road as soon as possible. Earlier this month, Apple became the 30th company to be granted permission to test autonomous vehicles on California by the state’s DMV. Even Amazon is reported to have created a team to understand how to best leverage the upcoming revolution. And Waymo (sister company of Google) has started testing its fleet in Phoenix.

But the road to autonomy is long, winding, and dangerous. Hours after being deployed in San Francisco in December, Uber’s autonomous cars were caught running a red light. Last year in Florida, a Tesla driver died in a crash when the car, on autopilot, confused a truck making a turn for an overhead road sign.

Current Understanding of the Health Effects of Electromagnetic Fields

"In light of recent findings of the link of EMF radiation and the development of malignant tumors in rats, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) set out a few recommendations to decrease the adverse effects of cell phone exposure on children.9 These recommendations include encouraging children to use text messaging when possible, make only short and essential calls on cellular phones, use hand free kits and wired headsets, and hold the cell phone an inch or more away from the head. Furthermore, the AAP also encourages parents to limit cell phone and television use in children to 2 hours or less per day. These are a few small, but nonetheless important, measures we can take to reduce excessive EMF exposure in children until more definitive research is available."

Scientists engaged in the study of biological and health effects of non-ionizing electromagnetic fields (EMF) have raised fresh alarm. Based on their peer-reviewed, published research, the scientists said they have serious concerns regarding the ubiquitous and increasing exposure to EMF generated by electric and wireless devices.

These include–but are not limited to–radiofrequency radiation (RFR) emitting devices, such as cellular and cordless phones and their base stations, Wi-Fi, broadcast antennas, smart meters, and baby monitors as well as electric devices and infra-structures used in the delivery of electricity that generate extremely-low frequency electromagnetic field (ELF EMF).

Peer-Reviewed Studies on Acoustic Neuroma and Cell Phone Use

Acoustic Neuroma and Cell Phone Use

Studies that report evidence of increased risk of acoustic neuroma associated with long-term cell phone use

Nine peer-reviewed studies, including one cohort study, have found evidence that long-term cell phone use is associated with increased risk of acoustic neuroma, a tumor on the nerve from the ear to the brain.

Cohort Studies

Benson et al, 2013 (acoustic neuroma) - UK Million Women cohort study

For acoustic neuroma, there was an increase in risk with long term use vs never use (10+ years: RR = 2.46, 95% CI = 1.07-5.64, P = 0.03), the risk increasing with duration of use (trend among users, P = 0.03).

Cellphones, WIFI and Cancer: Will Trump’s Budget Cuts Kill ‘Electrosmog’ Research?

Amidst concern over President Trump’s emasculation of the US Environmental Protection Agency, and cuts to the USA’s climate research, other ground-breaking areas of environmental research are being ignored.

For well-over a decade, at a cost of $25 million, a US National Toxicology Program study has been assessing the links between the use of mobile phones and rare, though increasing forms of cancer.

Unfortunately, before the results of this study are published, it may be ‘lost’ in the coming cuts.

Donald Trump’s policies are not ‘revolutionary’. They reflect a general opposition by right-wing lobby groups to environmental and social campaigns.

Just like the UK Coalition Government’s ‘Bonfire of the Quangos‘ in 2011/12, Trump’s cuts are aimed at removing any authoritative opposition to the liquidation of the Earth’s last natural resources – irrespective of the costs to human health and the environment.

Who will rid me of these turbulent scientists?

Italy: Florence: Judge Connects Tumor and Mobile Phone

Florence:  Judge connects tumor and mobile phone

The court of Florence like that of Ivrea: disability compensation for a salesperson

After the Ivrea Court, Florence has also recognized a link between cell phone use and the development of a tumor. On Friday, labor judge Vincenzo Nuvoli condemned the Inail [National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at Work] to payment of compensation for permanent disability (16 percent) to a man who in 2014 was diagnosed with acoustic neuroma of the right auditory nerve. For thirteen years, Alessandro Maurri, 60, assigned to sales for an import-export company, would use the mobile phone for an average of 2-3 hours a day. Maurri began working in 1985. In 1994 he was awarded a corporate phone, and got to manage about 800 customers throughout Tuscany. Since 2002, when the office closed, he continued to work from home and used his cell phone up to an average of six hours a day. In 2008, he was diagnosed  with an acoustic neuroma which required surgery.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus Specific Absorption Rates (SAR)

To ensure that the cell phone does not exceed the legal limit, consumers should never keep their cell phone in their pockets or next to their skin.
The cell phone is not tested directly against the body because almost all cell phones would fail the SAR test as the radiation absorption increases dramatically when the cell phone is close to the body.

According to test reports filed with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) for the Galaxy S8 for cellular transmission is 0.34 watts per kilogram (w/kg) at the head, and 0.93 w/kg when worn on the body. The WiFi hotspot SAR is 0.95 w/kg. The SAR for simultaneous transmission (cellular plus Wi-Fi) is 1.25 w/kg at the head, 1.39 w/kg when worn on the body, and 1.52 w/kg when used as a hotspot. (1)

Communiqué, 26 April 2017

By a ruling made on 20 April 2017, as follow-up to the public hearing of 19 April 2017, the Administrative Tribunal of Melun rejected all demands for interlocutory proceedings that we had initiated against the National Frequency Agency (ANFR) on 20 February 2017. The court considered that the requested measurements would be an obstacle to enforcement of an administrative decision (explicit decision of ANFR dated 19 December 2016 refusing the transmission of documents relating to measurements of the specific absorption rate (SAR) of 95 mobile phones tested) without establishing the existence of a serious and imminent danger.

Statement By Dr. Devra Davis On The Landmark California Court Ruling Upholding The Berkeley Cell Phone Ordinance
ehtrust.org, 22 April 2017

In a clear victory for the public right to know with a landmark court decision, the US Circuit Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has upheld the City of Berkeley’s ordinance requiring phone sellers make public typically hidden advice about distances used for cell phone testing. In an April 21, 2017 filing, the Court decisively rejected the industry argument that making that advice public deprived them of their First Amendment rights.

Phone sellers in Berkeley are required to post this notice:

To assure safety, the Federal Government requires that cell phones meet radiofrequency (RF) exposure guidelines. If you carry or use your phone in a pants or shirt pocket or tucked into a bra when the phone is ON and connected to a wireless network, you may exceed the federal guidelines for exposure to RF radiation. Refer to the instructions in your phone or user manual for information about how to use your phone safely.

“The Sensitives” follows the lives of people with chemical and electromagnetic hypersensitivity, where victims can have debilitating reactions to exposure to even the slightest artificial fragrance or electromagnetic radiation. The documentary required extensive precautions to preserve the health of the victims.

Complaints about cellphones have become ubiquitous of late — millennials purportedly won’t put them down, they’re ruining our love lives and some even argue that they’re interfering with our health care. In a world where it’s nearly impossible to operate as an independent adult without a phone, the devices are held with as much disdain as they are praise.

But for some people, the problems don’t end — or don’t even begin — with the way cell phones affect our interactions. For some, cell phones and any other device that emits electromagnetic waves, like laptops or digital cameras, make them physically ill.

VLNComm looks to LED technology to provide better network

University Engineering Prof. Maite Brandt-Pearce and her former graduate student, Mohammad Noshad, have found a new alternative to wireless networks like Wi-Fi which uses radio waves. Their new technology “Li-Fi” instead uses LED lights to provide network connectivity.

In wireless networks like Wi-Fi, a wireless adapter converts data into radio signals and transmits it using an antenna. A wireless router then receives and decodes the signal, sending the information to the internet with a physical, wired connection.

A Curious Case of Depression

"Suffice it to say, it is not enough to address depression in young people solely with conventional psychotherapy and perhaps an antidepressant. A Curious Case of Depression

by Victoria L. Dunckley M.D.psychologytoday.com, 29 October 2015

The face of depression in today's screen-bound world is changing.

Dan was a twenty-year-old young man with mild social anxiety and attention deficit disorder who — despite a genius-level IQ — was failing out of college. His social life had gone from being fairly active to nonexistent, his sleep-wake pattern was almost completely reversed, and he rarely left his room. Although not actively suicidal, Dan reported he often felt he ’d be “better off dead” and didn’t “see much point to life.” What was happening?

Upon graduating from high school, Dan had continued living at home with parents. But without the eight-hour school days and no job to go to, he suddenly found himself with a lot of extra time on his hands. His electronics’ use skyrocketed.

In the end you’ll thank me. Why? It’s because this article might just save your life.

Two weeks ago I was in California visiting my son and his fiancé. While there, I also visited my former doctor for some basic medical maintenance and learned about a few of the dangers of everyday life. One of which is your cellphone. As it turns out, it’s a killer.

Oh, I know, you’re addicted to it, use it a million times a day and couldn’t possibly live without it. But that’s not the point, is it? The real point is you might not be able live with it.

In the past five years, the amount of radiation emanating from cellphones has increased dramatically. And, as it turns out, holding it to your ear too much each day is a great way to develop brain cancer and other diseases.

As the wireless industry rapidly unleashes new technologies, should we be concerned?

In June of 2015 Renee Adams* of Maple Ridge, British Columbia was awakened by the sound of heavy trucks and workers affixing microcell broadcast antennas to a telephone pole 100 feet from her front door.

Surprised by the lack of warning and concerned about possible health effects, the single mother of two autistic boys asked for an explanation, but was told by workers that it was “none of her business” and ordered out of the construction zone. Finding no government department at any level willing to listen to her concerns, she appealed to city council. Council, however, was unaware of the plan to deploy the antennas, confused about responsibilities, and uncertain of dangers.

Interview with Chernobyl Cleanup Survivor, Natalia Manzurova

REPOSTED 24 April 2017 on the occasion of the Grand Vigil of IndependentWHO taking place on 26 April in Geneva in front of WHO.

Natalia Manzurova, shown here in 1988 in the "dead zone"
of Pripyat, is one of the relatively few survivors among
those directly involved in the cleanup of Chernobyl.

Shortly after the Fukushima nuclear accident occurred in March 2011, Natalia Manzurova granted this interview with aol.com. She is one of the few survivors among those directly involved in the cleanup of Chernobyl. Just after the nuclear catastrophe, the 35-year-old engineer was told to report to the wrecked plant in northern Ukraine. She spent 4 1/2 years helping clean the abandoned town of Pripyat, which was less than two miles from the Chernobyl reactors. Several years after working there, she developed a benign thyroid tumor. Half the thyroid was removed. Around the time of the operation, the government passed a law saying the liquidators had to work for exactly 4 1/2 years to get their pension and retire. The law concerning benefits kept changing because the government did not want to admit to what extent the liquidators were being affected. It would have looked bad for the industry. “The nuclear industry is dangerous. They want to deny the dangers.” Manzurova became disabled at age 43. Today she is an advocate for radiation victims worldwide.

She's won nine Grammys and has another album on the way, but, mostly, she's dedicated to being there for every moments of her sons' childhoods. So, it's really no surprise that Sheryl Crow limits her kids' screen time to 30 minutes per day, as she recently told People magazine. Six-year-old and Levi and 9-year-old Wyatt probably aren't bored, though: Crow said she recorded the entirety of Be Myself, out April 21, during their school hours so that she could be home every night for dinner. And no one would argue that playing endless games of Candy Crush is a better way to spend time than hanging out with family (except maybe kids themselves, but still).

Inail ordered to pay an annuity for an occupational disease to the company employee who was diagnosed with a tumor after 15 years of cell phone use for more than three hours a day without protection.

The prolonged and continuous use of the cell phone, without headsets or a hands-free kit, has been recognized by the Ivrea Judge Laura Fadda as a possible cause of the onset of a tumor. The victim, who appealed against Inail [National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at Work], is a technician in the Turin office of a large Italian telecoms company. His name is Roberto Romeo, 57 years old, and just a few years' short of retirement. The biological damage has been recognized at 23 percent.

The Italian Court of Ivrea rules telecom employee to be paid lifetimes damages for brain tumor developed after heavy cell phone use.

The Italian Court of Ivrea is the first Court in the world to recognize a causal link between cellphone use and brain tumors in an April 11, 2017 ruling which awarded a Telecom employee, Roberto Romeo, lifetime damages of 500 euros a month after he developed a brain tumor from fifteen years of cell phone use. The ruling which has made international headlines as the court’s expert refused to accept telecom industry funded studies as evidence.

“Judgment recognizes the causal link between a Brain tumor and the use of a cell phone”. This is quoted from the verdict issued by Judge Luca Fadda of the Court of Ivrea. The state social security agency must pay Romeo for the damages from the brain tumor which resulted in loss of hearing in one ear. He had used the company cellphone for three hours a day for 15 years.

“I had no choice but to use my mobile to talk to colleagues and organise work — for 15 years I was calling all the time, from home, in the car,” states Romeo as quoted in The Guardian, “I started to have the feeling of my right ear being blocked all the time and the tumour was diagnosed in 2010. Happily, it was benign but I can no longer hear anything because they had to remove my acoustic nerve.”

Berkeley’s ordinance which has been in effect since March 21 of last year requires cellphone retailers in the city to provide consumers with the following notification:

“To assure safety, the Federal Government requires that cell phones meet radiofrequency (RF) exposure guidelines. If you carry or use your phone in a pants or shirt pocket or tucked into a bra when the phone is ON and connected to a wireless network, you may exceed the federal guidelines for exposure to RF radiation. 9th Circuit: Local law actually “complements and reinforces” federal law, policy.

On Friday, a federal appeals court ruled in favor of the City of Berkeley, allowing the city to keep its law that requires radiation warning signs in all cellphone stores within the city limits.

The CTIA, the cellphone industry trade group, sued the city to stop the law from taking effect by asking a lower court to impose a preliminary injunction. The group argued that forcing retailers to display the warning (pictured below) constituted compelled speech, which violates the First Amendment. After the district court didn't impose the injunction, the CTIA appealed to the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals.

The 9th Circuit concluded that Berkeley's disclosure "did no more than alert consumers" to FCC safety disclosures.

MILAN (AP) — A longtime Telecom Italia employee has been awarded monthly social security payments after a court found that his brain tumor was caused by improper use of a company-issued cellphone.

Lawyer Stefano Bertone said Thursday that it was the first trial court verdict of which he was aware in the world “to recognize a link between cellphone use and the development of brain tumor.”

Bertone said one factor that appeared to have contributed to the verdict was the refusal by the court’s expert to accept into evidence studies that were funded by the telecom industry.

The longer they deny there is a problem, the harder and more costly its going to be when they are proved wrong. Just like the tobacco industry in the fifties refusing to admit smoking causes cancer, the airline industry has its head in the sand. The inconvenient truth for the Airlines is that low doses of toxins in cabin air, over hundreds of hours can hurt some people. The airline industry should be ashamed of itself. My Son suffered so much unnecessarily, and they have done nothing to protect people. The longer you leave it, the harder its going to be, so we just expect those responsible do the right thing."

City of Berkeley becomes the first to require cellphone retailers to display warnings about radiation
If you’re in the market for a cellphone or tablet in the City of Berkeley, you will probably notice a sign displayed near the register of a cellphone retailer, or on store shelves.

It’s a flier alerting customers of possible radiation exposure from mobile devices.

“Berkeley is the first city in the country to get stores to post warnings. It’s a small step, but it’s an important step,” said Joel Moskowitz, PhD, director of UC Berkeley’s Center for Family and Community Health at the University’s School of Public Health.

India: Jadavpur University Researchers Take Up Mobile Radiation Study

Jadavpur University researchers take up mobile radiation study
timesofindia.indiatimes.com, 13 April 2017

KOLKATA: Doctoral students in the electronics department at Jadavpur University have taken up research on cellphone radiation, a field that few dare to tread fearing the powerful cellular lobby.

Academics dealing with electromagnetic radiation have long held the view that intensity of radiation from cellular tow-ers in India needs to be lowered to levels in other developed cou-ntries to reduce potential health hazards. But in the absence of long-term research data, the cellular industry has challenged the arguments and rubbished their claims.

That may well change with PhD students of JU studying various facets of electromagnetic radiation and cell towers. Though most of the studies are at a nascent stage, they have already thrown up some disturbing findings.

Woman a prisoner in own home for life
m.nzherald.co.nz, 10 April 2017

A woman is forced to live in a single sealed, toxin-free room and sleep on the bathroom floor as she is allergic to almost everything in the outside world.

Amelia Hill, nicknamed "woman in a bubble", lives as a prisoner in her own Adelaide home and is struggling to survive as her health worsens.

The 41-year-old says she suffers disabling 'allergic' type reactions that can last from hours to weeks ever since she was exposed to termite spray when she was 15 years old.

She says she sometimes experiences 24-hour non-stop loops of 'symptomatic mayhem' that causes her immense physical pain, rashes, fatigue and can leave her unconscious.

Could phones change the way our spines curve?
by Reuters, 15 April 2017

Spine surgeons are noticing an increase in patients with neck and upper back pain, likely related to poor posture during prolonged smartphone use, according to a recent report.

Some patients, particularly young patients who shouldn't yet have back and neck issues, are reporting disk hernias and alignment problems, the study authors write in The Spine Journal.

"In an X-ray, the neck typically curves backward, and what we're seeing is that the curve is being reversed as people look down at their phones for hours each day," said study coauthor Dr. Todd Lanman, a spinal neurosurgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, reports Daily Mail.

"By the time patients get to me, they're already in bad pain and have disc issues," he told Reuters Health.

Cancer Link to Cell Towers? Studies Show It's 50:50 Call

The Swiss minister for communication says WHO "has never considered mobile antennas as a health risk and there is no indication that this position would evolve in their disfavor".  Dr. Robert Baan, the officer in charge of the 2011 IARC monograph classifying radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as "possibly carcinogenic", has stated that this classification "holds for all types of radiation within the radiofrequency part of the electromagnetic spectrum, including the radiation emitted by base-station antennas, radio/TV towers, radar, Wi-Fi, smart meters, etc."  He adds, "an important point is the radiation level. The exposure from cellular phones (personal exposure) is substantially higher and much more focused (usually on the brain) than exposures from radio/tv towers, antennas, or Wi-Fi."

NEW DELHI: Is the radiation emitted by a mobile phone tower a health hazard? Telecom operators have long denied the possibility, but the global scientific community now strongly thinks it is — though there is no consensus on the duration and distance of exposure at which diseases can be triggered.

California: SB18 Bill Will Allow Authorities To Enter Unvaccinated Kids Homes

SB18 Bill Will Allow Authorities To Enter Unvaccinated Kids Homes
by Sean Adl-Tabatabaiyournewswire.com
29 March 2017

California has passed the controversial SB18 bill, allowing state authorities to enter unvaccinated children’s homes in order to assess the child’s safety.

SB18 is a law that forces parents to adhere to and comply with the government’s definition of what is “appropriate” practice when it comes to raising children. Failure to comply with “appropriate” practises, including going against “evidence-based” medical recommendations, can put parents at risk of losing their children.

Healthimpactnews.com reports:

At first blush, the amendments’ defining details of SB18 — which is being pushed by Big Pharma whipping boy Sen. Richard Pan (D-Sacramento) — appear altruistic in nature, utilizing language that attempts to swaddle political overreach in soothing terms like “child bill of rights.” However when taking a closer look, the amendments contain strangely redundant policy that seems to be seeking laws for innocuous rights that already exist, which begs the question, what is the real purpose for this legislation?

Green Bank, West Virginia: An American Town Without Wi-Fi or Mobile Phones

An American Town without Wi-Fi or Mobile Phones
learningenglish.voanews.com, 15 April 2017

You might think people all over the United States have wireless internet service and mobile phones. But there is no such service in Green Bank, West Virginia, a tiny town four hours from the U.S. capital, Washington, D.C.

Fewer than 150 people live in Green Bank, which has two churches, an elementary school and a public library. It also is home to the largest fully steerable radio telescope in the world.

There is a ban on Wi-Fi -- wireless internet service -- in Green Bank, along with anything else that can create electromagnetic waves. Officials say the waves could interfere with signals the telescope receives.

For many Americans, a visit to Green Bank is a little like returning to the 1950s. To get there, you must read road signs -- because there is no GPS service in the town. People can connect with the internet through telephones or Ethernet cables, but wireless service is not permitted.

Pupils As Young As Four Having Panic Attacks, Say Teachers

This survey should have included asking teachers whether their schools have Wi-Fi in classrooms and how many hours a day these troubled children are using wireless gadgets. According to a 2015 study by Martin Pall, electromagnetic fields cause at least 13 neuropsychiatric effects including depression in humans.

Pupils as young as four having panic attacks, say teachers
by Hannah Richardson, BBC News education reporter, 14 April 2017

Children as young as four are suffering from mental health problems such as panic attacks, anxiety and depression, says a teachers' union.

Almost all of the 2,000 who responded to an NASUWT survey said they had come into contact with mentally ill pupils.

Members of the teachers' union suggest schools are struggling to access enough support to deal with the issue.

The Department for Education said it was investing £1.4bn to ensure all children get the help they need.

Evaluation of Mobile Phone and Cordless Phone Use and Glioma Risk
Using the Bradford Hill Viewpoints from 1965 on Association or Causation

"The nine Bradford Hill viewpoints on association or causation regarding RF radiation and glioma risk  seem to be fulfilled in this review.

Based on that we conclude that glioma is caused by RF radiation. Revision of current guidelines  for exposure to RF radiation is needed."

This review paper by Michael Carlberg and Lennart Hardell evaluates the strength of the scientific evidence to determine whether there is a causal relationship between a risk factor and an associated disease -- namely, wireless (cellphone and cordless) phone use and glioma, the most common brain cancer. The paper applies the nine perspectives developed by Sir Austin Bradford Hill to the peer-reviewed data pertaining to this health risk.

Price rises for generic cancer drugs are estimated to cost the NHS in England around £380m a year

Leaked internal emails appear to show employees at one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies calling for “celebration” over price hikes of cancer drugs, an investigation has revealed.

Staff at Aspen Pharmacare reportedly plotted to destroy stocks of life-saving medicines during a price dispute with the Spanish health service in 2014.

After purchasing five different cancer drugs from British firm GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), the company tried to sell the medicines in Europe for up to 40 times their previous price, reported The Times.

India: Health Bomb Ticks, But Experts Fail to Connect on Cancer Trigger from Electromagnetic Fields

Health bomb ticks, but experts fail to connect on cancer trigger from electromagnetic fields

by Syed Akbar, TNN, 13 April 2017

HYDERABAD: The Supreme Court's order on closure of a cell phone tower has kicked off a debate among health experts in Hyderabad on the impact of electromagnetic radiation on the health of people, animals and plants. Like their counterparts around the world, city doctors are also divided on whether or not cell phone towers cause cancers and other health issues.

Scientific data on the matter is inconclusive as no fullfledged study -covering a large section of people spread over a vast area -has been conducted. There are a number of research studies, including half a dozen from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, but their data is limited to a small area and a small population.

Nevertheless, electromagnetic radiation is known to affect the health of people, animals, birds and even flora. There are also research reports that mobile phones cause more damage to an indi vidual's health than the mobile phone base station. In case of mobile phones the electromagnetic radiation is concentrated on a particular area like the head, chest and waist.

Your WiFi Could Be Harming Your Health

Your WiFi Could Be Harming Your Health

I work on the Internet all day long and have not really ever considered the health implications of doing so. I have exercised caution with other electronics; for example, I am careful with my cellphone and I don’t have a microwave in the home. And yet, I have not ever thought that my WiFi could make me sick.

Health effects of WiFi

WiFi was introduced in 1997 — I remember this well. It is a technology that utilizes radio waves to provide network connectivity. Since it was first introduced, there have been numerous studies conducted that have demonstrated that this amazing innovation could actually be harming overall health — brain health in particular, especially in children. Here are the facts:

It may cause insomnia

Regulators and medical-device-makers are bracing for an expected barrage of hacking attacks even as legal and technical uncertainties leave them in uncharted territory.

Tens of millions of electronic health records have been compromised in recent years, a number that is growing and, some say, underreported.

High-profile attacks have hit hospitals and health insurers, and now attention is turning to a new vulnerability: medical devices like pacemakers and insulin pumps.

Smart Meters and Cell Damage from Pulsed Electromagnetic Radiation - Our Health Risk?

Smart meters and cell damage from pulsed em radiation - our health at risk?
by Lynne Wycherley, theecologist.org, 11 April 2017

'Smart meters' looked like a great idea, writes Lynne Wycherley, giving us more control over our energy use. The downside? They emit as many as 14,000 short bursts of intense microwave radiation a day, disrupting cellular electrochemistry and causing health symptoms from migraine to tinnitus, insomnia, dizziness, anxiety, chest pain, palpitations and memory loss. Now a growing number of 'electro-sensitives' have had enough!

As early as 2012, environmental health Professor David Carpenter, founder of Albany School of Public Health, and author of 370 peer-reviewed publications, issued a public letter on the plausible toxic risks of intensive, pulsed-microwave smart metering.
