Following its Annual General Assembly on April 5, 2025, Phonegate Alert announces the addition of three new Board members, reinforcing its scientific, media and associative expertise in the fight against health risks linked to cell phone radiation.

“I am convinced of the need to inform and protect consumers”.

A German journalist and producer renowned for his documentaries on the dangers of electromagnetic radiation (“Thank You for Calling”, “Ondes de Choc”), he will bring his media expertise and long-standing commitment to raising public awareness.

“Since the broadcast of my documentary ”Portables en accusation” on France 2 in 2006, my journalistic work has brought me into contact with leading scientists. I’ve become convinced of the need to inform and protect consumers. It is in this spirit that I wish to support Phonegate Alert in its actions in Germany and Europe.”.

“We must all work together!”

An American radiologist and Vice-President of the Environmental Health Trust, he contributes his clinical expertise on the biological effects of non-ionizing radiation.

“I look forward to a productive collaboration between the Environmental Health Trust, Dr. Arazi and the Phonegate Alert Board. As recognition of the negative health effects caused by radiation from cell phones and other wireless products continues to grow, we must all work together!”

“I’m not advocating against the use of cell phones.”

Ellen Marks – United States

Founder of the California Brain Tumor Association, her personal battle since her husband’s diagnosis in 2008 has made her an essential voice for victims.

“I’m not advocating against the use of cell phones. I’m advocating that the FCC and FDA take corrective action and adopt guidelines that truly protect human health. The current 1996 guidelines only take into account thermal damage to DNA. Science has repeatedly proven that cancer-causing damage to our DNA also occurs without heating.”

Current context and priority actions of Phonegate Alert

This appointment comes as Phonegate Alert intensifies its action on several fronts in 2025:

  • Legal actions: Continuation of the class action against Apple and Samsung in Canada and increased surveillance with the use of our “real” SAR calculator of new models (Samsung Galaxy S25, iPhone 16) revealing alarming exposure levels.
  • Regulatory transparency: Calling on French ministries to address ANFR’s repeated failings (26 unpublished SAR test reports, including the iPhone 12), as well as its failure to provide mandatory information at European level
  • European collaboration: mobilizing national regulators and European bodies to extend controls and withdrawals of phones and connected objects throughout Europe (58 models of smartphones and 2 first connected objects pinned). Implementation of measures to control SAR in direct contact with the body.
  • Scientific expertise: Active participation in debates on the link between RF exposure and cancer with the WHO and ANSES
  • 5G Vigilance: Action before the Administrative Court against the ANSES report on 5G

The association acts through: institutional advocacy, legal action, and raising public awareness of the risks of wireless technologies (5G, connected objects).

“The arrival of these international experts considerably strengthens our capacity for action”

Dr. Marc Arazi, President and co-founder of Phonegate Alert, concludes:

“The arrival of these international experts considerably strengthens our capacity for action. Their complementary experience in the scientific, media and associative fields will enable us to step up our fight for safer use of wireless technologies.”
