I am typing this article because my girlfriend suffers from a severe case of Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (EHS). It is a topic near and dear to my heart because someone I love is being harmed with malicious intent. Since she cannot be exposed to technology, electricity, or anything man-made that runs on electrical current (lights, AC, sink, toilet, car, shower, and etc), she needs someone to be there 24/7. It surprises even electricians when they research how even the sink, toilet, and shower are running on electrical current. When exposed to EMFs, her symptoms include: ringing in the ears, rashes, nerve loss and Parkinson’s-like shaking, bleeding, memory loss, migraines, fatigue, and sleep problems. Back in Michigan, the outdoors made her feel better in comparison to being indoors next to wireless technology. For this reason, she slept outside for four months until I had enough money to pick her up. Given that her neighborhood was inundated with high levels of EMF exposure she became an EMF refugee and moved to Connecticut.

Telecommunications companies worldwide, with the support of Governments, are poised within the next few years to roll out the 5th-generation wireless network (5G). Access to analysis report on ANSES study

Our work of analysis, bibliographical research and putting into perspective the scientific elements presented, leads us to take a detailed critical look at this new ANSES report on 5G. In our opinion, it is more of a report on policy than a scientific report!

In order to understand why we are able to denounce the falsely reassuring communication around the release of the report, we invite you to read our comments and proposals in a joint document of counter-expertise of 52 pages that will be submitted to ANSES in the context of the public consultation that ends on June 1:

The various requests for a moratorium before the implementation of 5G, including the one signed in 2017 by more than 170 international experts and doctors including Prof. Dominique Belpomme and Dr. Marc Arazi, already justified by the lack of scientific studies specific to these new frequencies, are fully validated by this report by ANSES. However, although the agency acknowledges the lack of scientific data throughout the 241 pages, it does not draw the necessary conclusions. By acting in this way, ANSES, and also ANFR, which was involved in the work, is clearly and deliberately putting both the people living near relay antennas and mobile phone users at risk, relegating them to the status of guinea pigs.

Canada: Ontario: Electro-hypersensitivity Presentation to Carlow Mayo Council

It is important to educate communities about the need to accommodate people with the environmentally-induced disability, electro-hypersensitivity.  In Canada, three to five per cent of people with EHS (one million people) are severely affected by it and some 35 per cent of people suffer with a lesser severity of symptoms.

Sheena Symington, the director of the Electro Sensitivity Society made a presentation to Carlow Mayo Township council on April 13, revealing what electro hypersensitivity is, what causes it, its effects on those suffering from it, and how to counteract it with measures like replacing wireless WiFi connectivity with fibre optic cables. Carlow Mayo resident Trudy Bruyns also spoke, giving a personal view of living with EHS. Council took Symington’s presentation under advisement and thanked her for the information.

Symington began her presentation on April 13 by saying she was there to help those who suffer from electromagnetic sensitivity, and environmentally induced disability. She said that according to the World Health Organization, EHS is a phenomenon where individuals experience adverse health effects while using or being in the vicinity of devices that emit electromagnetic fields. EHS is known in medical literature as idiopathic environmental intolerance attributed to electromagnetic fields (IEI-EMF).

“EHS is a real and sometimes debilitating problem for the affected person and their responses are often several orders of magnitude below international accepted standards,” she says.

Washington DC: Environmental Health Trust Scientists and international experts sent a letter to President Biden expressing the urgent need to evaluate the human health and environmental impact of 5G and the proliferation of wireless networks. They call for reducing wireless exposures, an awareness campaign, the development of protective wireless safety limits, addressing occupational exposures an update to the CDC and EPA website pages that downplay the science and an action plan to minimize the health effects of technology to children. The letter addresses the lack of accountability in the US government in regards to non ionizing radiation as the EPA was defunded in 1996.

The letter to President Biden makes 12 recommendations and was accompanied by a scientific briefing on the health and environmental effects of 5G that has been send to policymakers worldwide. In 2019 US medical professionals sent a letter to President Trump calling for urgent action on 5G and wireless networks.

Children’s Health Defense Chairman Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is part of the legal team representing the family of Frank Aaron Walker, who died at age 49 from an aggressive brain cancer linked to cell phone radiation.

The family of a pastor from Louisiana who died from glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer, is suing Motorola, AT&T and other telecommunications companies. The lawsuit, filed April 8, alleges the cancer was caused by exposure to cell phones’ radiation and that the telecommunications industry has engaged for decades in fraudulent practices to hide the health risks of cell phone radiation.

The lawsuit was brought by the widow and two sons of Frank Aaron Walker, a pastor, teacher and musician from Louisiana. Mr. Walker, who used cell phones for 25 years, was diagnosed with glioblastoma brain cancer in January 2019. Walker died Dec. 31, 2020, at the age of 49, after a two-year battle with this cancer.

The French health and environmental agency, ANSES, published on Tuesday, April 20 an opinion and a draft report on aspects of possible health risks of exposure to 5G. This report has been put for a period of six weeks in public consultation to allow scientists, health professionals, experts and organizations to give their opinion, comments and proposals on the report.

You have until Tuesday, June 1, 2021 to participate.

To allow international participation on this global public health issue, we have asked ANSES to translate the opinion into English. According to their answer, it should be available soon. And on our side, we have just set up an English working report with the professional translation tool Deepl. It can be downloaded here.
