SAR value of mobile devices 3-4 times higher than allowed - 90% of devices affected

More than five billion mobile phones are currently in use, and this number is increasing daily. When used close to the body, the radiation on many models is above the allowable SAR (limit) value. As with the diesel scandal trick the mobile operators in their tests. That's what French scientists have revealed. This is documented by Prof. D. Davis in her presentation.

Heavy Screen Time Changes Children’s Brains

Heavy Screen Time Changes Children’s Brains
by Dr. Joseph Mercola, 27 December 2018

  • Children aged 9 to 10 who use electronic devices for seven hours or more per day exhibit premature thinning of the brain cortex, the outer brain layer that processes information from the five physical senses
  • As little as two hours of screen time per day may impact cognition, resulting in lower scores on thinking and language tests
  • Infants under the age of 2 do not effectively learn language from videos; they need live interaction
  • Babies do not transfer what they learn from the iPad to the real world. For example, the ability to play with virtual Legos does not transfer over into the skill of manipulating real Lego blocks
  • Apps and social media are designed to be addictive, and young children are far more susceptible to addiction than adults

Most people today live in a sea of radiofrequencies emitted from wireless technologies of all kinds, from routers to smartphones, tablets, baby monitors, TVs, appliances, smart meters and many more.

According to many experts, chronic, heavy exposure could have severe repercussions for our health, especially that of children, who are now exposed even before birth. Research also suggests interaction with social media, games and apps online produces a number of effects, both physical and psychological.

Heavy Use of Wireless Devices Changes Brain Structure in Children

Children and Wireless Radiation - FAQ's

Children And Wireless FAQ’s

Answers to Commonly Asked Questions - Children and Wireless Radiation

[expand title=”Q: Is wireless technology safe?”]
A: Wireless technology is not safe. Wi-Fi and all radiofrequency radiation has been on the World Health Organization’s Class 2B List of Possible Human Carcinogens for more than three years (since May 2011) based on research showing increased brain cancer in heavy users (30 minutes per day) with over 10 years of use. Lead and DDT are also included on this list. Recent research using computer-generated signals from working cell phones finds that this radiation increases damage to human sperm and offspring of animals exposed prenatally. These effects are not taken into account when standards are set for these devices.

[/expand][expand title=”Q: What is known about safety for children?”]
A: Children are not little adults. Children’s skulls are thinner and tissues of a child’s head, including the bone marrow and the eye, absorb significantly more energy than those in an adult head. It is scientifically accepted that children are more vulnerable to the biological effects of microwave exposure than adults due their rapidly developing body systems. Children’s stem cells are more affected by microwave radiation.

No studies show that microwave radiation exposure in children is safe or that continuous exposure from cell phones, cell towers, cordless phones, Wi-Fi routers, baby monitors, etc. is safe.[/expand]

Switzerland: "Radiation-Emitting Devices Close to the Head and Body" - Interpellation Introduced at the National Council in June 2018

We only just discovered the text of the interpellation introduced by National Councilor Mrs. Silva Semadeni in June 2018 which mentions the Phonegate scandal and the importance of notifying users of the risks of exposure to the electromagnetic fields from mobile devices.  A Postulate "Declaration of Non-Ionizing Radiation" was introduced to the National Council on 27 September by Mrs. Semadeni, and discussed on 21 November, when the Federal Council proposed to reject the postulate.  We hope that the newly-appointed Federal Councilor in charge of communications will be more favorable to the postulate.

18.3622 INTERPELLATION - "Radiation-Emitting Devices Close to the Head and Body"

Unofficial translation

Introduced by: SEMADENI SILVA on 14 June 2018 to the National Council

Electronic devices that can be worn in contact with or close to the body and produce a permanent electromagnetic field are increasingly available on the market: computers, laptops, tablets, headphones, watches or various devices that measure physical activity (pulse, step, etc.). And the phenomenon will continue to intensify (clothing, glasses, virtual reality equipment, etc.). However, users are not always aware of the long-term health risks of these electromagnetic fields (radio waves, magnetic fields, etc.).

A French study (Phonegate scandal) revealed that the specific absorption rate (SAR) values of most mobile phones were respected in optimized laboratory measurements, but not during daily use near the body. The different proceedings won by people with brain tumors related to the professional use of cell phones should invite caution. Insurance companies exclude risks related to electromagnetic fields from their policies, among other things because they have been on the World Health Organization's list of carcinogens for years.

Why Do Scientists State That SAR Is Inadequate To Protect Cell Phone Users?

The SAR Test Is Inadequate
Environmental Health Trust

Why Do Scientists State That SAR Is Inadequate To Protect Cell Phone Users?

There are three major problems with the SAR laboratory compliance tests: (1) the models, (2) the method, and (3) the limits.

Inadequate Model: SAR Test Dummies Do Not Represent Human Cell Phone Users

SAR is not an adequate metric for understanding a person’s exposure as the test method is not representative of the actual people (from babies to adults) who use cell phones. The SAR test dummy is based upon a large adult male (6’2” tall and 220 pounds) called the Specific Anthropomorphic Mannequin, or SAM. 97% of the population is smaller than the SAM model, meaning that only 3% of cell phone users are represented. Research confirms that radiation absorption into a child’s head can be over two times greater, and absorption into the skull’s bone marrow can be ten times greater than adults.

The First Long-Term Study on How Screen Time Affects Children's Brains Suggests More Than 2 Hours a Day Could Do Damage

A new and ongoing study from the National Institutes of Health is testinghow screen time affects children's brains, CBS News reported.

When complete, the study will have followed more than 11,000 children for a decade, monitoring how digital screens like smartphones, video games, and tablets are changing the young brain.

The first brain scans from the study have been analyzed, and researchers have concluded that children who spend more than seven hours a day on screens experience "premature thinning of the cortex," Gaya Dowling, one of the study's authors, said in an interview with "60 Minutes."

The study also found that children who have more than two hours of screen time a day got lower scores on tests focused on thinking and language skills.

Phonegate: A New Smartphone Exceeds the Regulatory Thresholds: the Archos Access 50

A new smartphone exceeds the regulatory thresholds: the Archos access 50
PhoneGate Team, phonegatealert.org, 21 December 2018

In a new press release published on its website, the French National Frequency Agency (ANFR) announced that it had noted during these controls that the Archos access 50 smartphone exceeded the regulatory thresholds for the trunk Specific Absorption Rate (SAR). Indeed, it was measured at 3.1 W/kg, which represents an overrun of more than 50% of the European regulatory limit value set at 2W/kg.

In accordance with the regulations (Article L43 II bis of the French Post and Electronic Communications Code):

“ANFR has given notice to Archos, the company responsible for marketing this telephone, to take all appropriate measures to put an end to the non-compliance found on equipment currently on the market and those already on the market.”

However, the information procedures for ARCHOS owners are at the very least insufficient or even misleading. Indeed, as indicated in the “update”, there is no mention of exceeding the DAS… and we can easily imagine why. Not seen, not taken!

It's Time for the American Psychological Association (APA) to Speak Out on Persuasive Design

It's time for the APA to speak out on persuasive design.

Please sign the letter to the American Psychological Association (APA)

Over 50% of parents report that regulating their children’s use of digital devices is a “constant battle.” But kids’ struggle to unplug isn’t a failure on their part: tech companies manipulate children to keep them on their devices.

Psychologists working with tech companies use sophisticated techniques aimed at changing behavior — called persuasive design — that make it difficult for users to put their devices down. Because children are more vulnerable than adults, persuasive design contributes to the compulsive use of smartphones and other devices by young people, increasing their risk for emotional and academic problems.

More than 200 psychologists concerned about persuasive design, including leaders in the field like Drs. Mary Pipher, Jean Twenge, and Sherry Turkle, have sent a letter to the American Psychological Association (APA) asking it to take a stand on the issue.

Now, the APA needs to hear your voice. Please join us in calling on APA President Jessica Henderson-Daniel to take action!

5G Dangers, 5th Generation Wireless Technology. Health and Environmental Impacts

5G Dangers, 5th Generation Wireless Technology. Health and Environmental Impacts
By Electromagnetic Sense Ireland / Global Research, 18 December 2018

Scientists and doctors have already warned of serious health effects of 5G Technology for human health and the environment
This first EU 5G Appeal was initially submitted in September 2017 to the European Commission demanding a moratorium on the increase of cell antennas for planned 5G expansion. Concerns over health effects from higher radiation exposure include potential neurological impacts, infertility, and cancer.

“We the undersigned scientists and doctors recommend a moratorium on the roll-out of the fifth generation, 5G, for telecommunication until potential hazards for human health and the environment have been fully investigated by scientists independent from industry. 5G will substantially increase exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF) on top of the 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, etc. for telecommunications already in place. RF-EMF has been proven to be harmful for humans and the environment…” READ EU APPEAL HERE

ANFR: New Indications of Concealment Attempts

ANFR: new indications of concealment attempts
PhoneGate Teamphonegatealert.org, 19 December 2018

At the hearing before the French Administrative Court on Friday 14 December 2018, the Public Rapporteur presented conclusions aimed at proposing a dismissal of Dr Arazi’s request to communicate the data sheets of the mobile phone control measures tested by the National Frequency Agency (ANFR) in 2015.

The main argument put forward by the Public Rapporteur was to consider the publication on 8 March 2018 on the ANFR Open Data portal as an element satisfying the requests, namely including all the data from the reports signed by the approved laboratories, although the documents containing them are not the original versions of the reports.

Although electrohypersensitivity (EHS) is a detrimental health condition officially acknowledged by the World Health Organisation its characterization as a new pathological disorder remains to be clarified. In a prospective bioclinical study of EHS- and/or multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS) self-reporting patients, we used both ultrasonic cerebral tomosphygmography (UCTS) and transcranial Doppler ultrasonography to measure intracerebral pulsations with the aim to further characterize the brain abnormalities in these patients.

Thermal and non-thermal health effects of low intensity non-ionizing radiation: An international perspective

RE-POSTED: 17 December 2018
UPDATE:  This text contains excerpts from the study.  See:

"The scientific evidence for harm from EMFs is increasingly strong. We do not advocate going back to the age before electricity or wireless communication, but we deplore the present failure of public health international bodies to recognize the scientific data showing the adverse effects of EMFs on human health."

Thermal and non-thermal health effects of low intensity non-ionizing radiation: An international perspective

• Exposure to electromagnetic fields has increased dramatically.
• Electromagnetic fields at low and non-thermal intensities increase risk of cancer in animals and humans.
• Some individuals are particularly sensitive and develop a syndrome of electrohypersensitivity.
• There is an urgent need to recognize hazards associated with excessive exposure to non-thermal levels of electromagnetic fields.

Goldman Sachs to Biotech: Don’t Cure Cancer
by Ralph Moss, 14 December 2018

Cancer is a growth industry. And drug companies are not interested in curing cancer. It is more profitable to turn it into a chronic condition. They can then offer “chronic treatments.” Patients will keep coming back for expensive treatments.

This isn’t idle speculation. In April 2018, Goldman Sachs, a Wall St. bank with almost one trillion dollars in assets, let the cat out of the bag. A top level employee named Salveen Richter issued a report advising clients to think twice before offering actual cures for cancer or hepatitis C.

Switzerland: Motion 18.3855: "For a better consideration of health in the mobile telephony sector (II)"

Read here the Federal Council's opinion on this motion (18.3856) which ends with the words, "The motion would unnecessarily restrict the mandate given to the working group charged with analyzing the needs and risks associated with the installation of 5G networks. From the Federal Council's point of view, this motion would run counter to the intended objective" and therefore, the Federal Council proposes to reject the motion. The Federal Council also proposes to reject motion 18.3855 on the same subject, citing the same opinion.

But as we said, there are reasons for hope.  Theo Wirth made this comment on the article, "BR beantwortet Vorstösse": "With Federal Councillor Doris Leuthard, this questionable answer from the Federal Council was to be expected. We hope that the new Federal Councillor [Simonetta Sommaruga] will achieve a more independent assessment of the dangers of electrosmog. Hope dies last."

Opinion and proposal of the Federal Council of 21 November 2018

The Federal Council considers that good mobile phone coverage and access to mobile Internet are essential for Switzerland's economic development. It therefore promotes the digitization of society and the economy and considers that, to achieve this, powerful mobile phone networks (5G) are essential. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the health of the population is protected from the harmful effects of radiation resulting from the use of these technologies. In this respect, the Federal Council stresses the importance of the precautionary principle enshrined in the Environmental Protection Act (EPL; SR 814.01).

Switzerland: The Federal Council proposes to Reject Postulate 18.3966 on the Declaration of Non-Ionizing Radiation

But there are good reasons for hope.

Scientists will follow more than 11,000 nine- to 10-year-olds for a decade to see how childhood experiences impact the brain and affect emotional development and mental health. The first bits of data suggest that the onslaught of tech screens has been transformative for young people -- and maybe not for the better.

Groundbreaking NIH Study Examines Effects of Screen Time on Kids

The interviews and data from the NIH study have already revealed something else: kids who spend more than two hours a day on screens got lower scores on thinking and language tests.

The iPhone was introduced in 2007. Smartphones gained widespread usage among young people by 2012. Jean Twenge says she was startled to find that in the four years that followed, the percentage of teens who reported drinking or having sex fell. But the percentage who said they were lonely or depressed spiked.

Jean Twenge: It's not just the loneliness and depression from these surveys. It's also that ER visits for self harm like cutting have tripled among girls age 10 to 14.

60 Minutes goes inside a landmark government study of young minds to see if phones, tablets and other screens are impacting adolescent brain development

Correspondent Anderson Cooper with Jean Twenge
If you have kids and wonder if all that time they spend on their smartphones endlessly scrolling, snapping and texting is affecting their brains, you might want to put down your own phone and pay attention. The federal government, through the National Institutes of Health, has launched the most ambitious study of adolescent brain development ever attempted. In part, scientists are trying to understand what no one currently does: how all that screen time impacts the physical structure of your kids' brains, as well as their emotional development and mental health.

At 21 sites across the country scientists have begun interviewing nine and ten-year-olds and scanning their brains. They'll follow more than 11,000 kids for a decade, and spend $300 million doing it. Dr. Gaya Dowling of the National Institutes of Health gave us a glimpse of what they've learned so far.

ANFR: hearing scheduled for December 14 before the Administrative Court of Melun
PhoneGate Team, phonegatealert.org, 7 décembre 2018

On 1 December 2017, Dr Arazi personally filed an action against the National Frequency Agency (ANFR) before the Melun Administrative Court. Its objective was to obtain, among other things, the full publication of the test reports carried out by ANFR in 2015. The association created in March 2018 fully supports its President in his dealings with ANFR.

In this context, in March 2018, ANFR decided to publish these reports as well as those prepared previously. However, for each of the reports posted on the Open Data data.anfr.fr website, the following statement appears: “Formatting for publication” with a new date indicating that “Changes” have been made to the original document.

A Review Translated from the Russian and Ukrainian Research on Millimetre Waves (similar to 5G) published in 2001
magdahavas.com, 16 February 2018, updated 7 July 2018

February 16, 2018: I recently came across a document in my files that consists of a review of research from Russia and the Ukraine on microwave radiation that includes frequencies from 30 to 300 GHz.

This range of frequencies from 30 to 300 GHz is called millimetre waves (mm waves) and is the range that is being tested for 5G technology. To my knowledge there is very limited unclassified research available documenting the short-term and long-term biological effects of these high GHz frequencies and because of this, this translation is very valuable.

"When my mother found out there was this rule, she told me it was right for me!" Salma is a schoolgirl in Villeneuve Haut-Lac, one of the ten establishments in canton Vaud where mobile phones have been banned since the start of the school year in September. Its director, Jean-François Theubet, hastened to rectify: "What is not allowed is free use. But the phone can be used under the control of an adult, for example to photograph the result of a science experiment."

In other words: no more devices at recess or between, including when students change buildings. Use is also prohibited while within the school perimeter, between 7:30 a.m. and noon and between 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. What do the students think about it? We met a grade 11 class (last year of compulsory school) composed of fourteen teenagers, eight girls and six boys aged 14 to 16.

Is It Possible to Talk about Phonegate on French Television?

Is it possible to talk about Phonegate on French television?
PhoneGate Team, 30 November 2018

It will soon be two years since the media coverage of the Phonegate health and industrial scandal began. Le Lanceur, on December 14, published the first article, quickly followed by two articles in Le Monde newspaper and Marianne Magazine, on December 23, 2016. Since then, many written media, radio stations, Internet, both French and international, have spoken about Phonegate. But not a single French private or public television medium wanted to inform about this marketing of non-compliant mobile phones that are at risk for the health of mobile phone users. Why?

FIT, 29 November 2018

In May 2018, a new study came out that claimed that radiation from cellphones was indeed killing the birds and the bees and destroying plants. Superstar Rajnikanth’s latest sci fi thriller 2.0 doesn’t sound that far fetched anymore, does it?

The EU backed analysis studied 97 different research papers before coming to this conclusion. Earlier in 2010, as reported by The Telegraph, a study claimed that radiation may interfere with what they called the magnetic compass that the birds and bees use.

And we all know what happens when the bees die, right? The world comes to an end.

The Facts:
Earlier this year Elon Musk said that artificial intelligence could be more dangerous than nuclear weapons.

Reflect On:
Why is there no oversight in the AI industry? AI has already become self-aware and learns by itself. What type of threats does this pose? How could it be used to our advantage to help the Earth?

Earlier this year, Elon Musk gave an interview where he alluded to the idea of Artificial Intelligence being far more dangerous than nuclear weapons. This is quite a bold statement, which led to a lot of backlash, given the destruction and devastation that nuclear weapons can cause.

Bayer to sell businesses, cut jobs after Monsanto deal
by Ludwig Burger, Reuters, 29 November 2018

FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Bayer (BAYGn.DE), the German drugmaker that bought U.S. seed company Monsanto, announced on Thursday the sale of a number of businesses, around 12,000 job cuts and 3.3 billion euros ($3.8 billion) in impairments.

Chief Executive Werner Baumann is under pressure to boost Bayer’s share price after a drop of more than 35 percent so far this year, dragged down by concern over more than 9,000 lawsuits it faces over an alleged cancer-causing effect of Monsanto’s Roundup weed killer.
