Germany: Concrete Help for Those Affected by Electrohypersensitivity

Electrohypersensitivity: Concrete help for those affected in Germany
diagnose-ehs.org (site in German) auto-translation

Recently, the diagnose:funk doctors network went online in Germany. This is supposed to provide people with electrohypersensitivity across Germany with an overview of where and with whom they can listen to their complaints (for the first time).

While in Switzerland, people suffering from electromagnetic hypersensitivity can already seek professional advice at the medical network MedNIS since 2023, Germany is still significantly behind in this. Although the Robert Koch Institute recognized as early as January 2020 that “patients with environmentally related or caused health disorders are finding it increasingly difficult to receive environmental medical care”, it has hardly taken any steps in this regard to date.

The network of doctors set up by diagnose:funk is now set to change this. The 50 doctors involved so far

- take EHS sufferers with the cause of the illness of radio radiation seriously.
- do not regard EHS as a psychological condition.
- try to provide support as much as they can.

While Switzerland, as well as the Calabria region in Italy, are already leading as good examples and showing what the medical care of people affected with EHS can look like, diagnose:funk has now taken on this task in Germany - funded by donations and supporting member contributions.

Diagnose:funk network of doctors

Over 50 doctors are already in the network of doctors for people with electrohypersensitivity. The goal is to be able to find a doctor as close to home as possible for all people affected by electrohypersensitivity. The search continues. Doctors are contacted with a general letter from a doctor or an individual letter. Using a feedback form,  The doctor can confirm to diagnose:funk  that he/she does not believe that electrohypersensitivity is caused by psychological factors and takes the experiences of those affected seriously.

A map of Germany and contact details of the doctors can be found on this special EHS webpage: https://diagnose-ehs.org/behandlung/arztenetz/ (site in German)
