Klaus Scheidsteger- Germany
Investigative journalist, author and producer specializing in feature films and documentaries, Klaus has been working internationally with his own production company since the mid-1980s.
In 2006, his first detailed documentary on mobile communications was produced, commissioned by French public television channel France 2: “Portables en Accusation”. The 50-minute film offers an insight into the legal battle waged by brain tumor victims against the U.S. cell phone industry.
Ten years later, the first feature documentary was released under the title “Thank You For Calling”, and in 2018, the book of the same name on the subject was published.
His latest film, “The Digital Dilemma”, was released in May 2024. The film caused a sensation at a preview at the European Parliament in Brussels, and is now available online in four languages and in selected cinemas.
Klaus Scheidsteger is also the initiator of the interdisciplinary mobile communications study ATHEM3, which is used in various legal proceedings and in international scientific circles.
